Confirmed! Jorge Mendes Warns Laporta: Bombshell Sale Underway for Barça

The all-powerful agent is negotiating a sale that could bring FC Barcelona more than 12 million

FC Barcelona's back to the 1:1 rule and can now fill its pockets for other moves. In recent hours, Jorge Mendes has contacted his friend Laporta to inform him that he's negotiating a deal that could benefit him. We're talking about the sale of Francisco Trincão, who could leave Portugal to head to Milan.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has discovered that  the deal is on the right track and Francisco Trincão is close to wearing Milan's colors. The price for the permanent transfer would be around 25 million euros. The news has been very well received at Barça given that, despite not having had the Portuguese player on the roster for years, a very positive clause remains.

In his permanent transfer to Sporting, FC Barcelona retained the possibility of continuing earning money with Trincão in the future. Of those 25 million euros that Milan might pay, the team headed by Laporta would get half. This means that, without lifting a finger, the blaugrana could earn 12.5 million euros, which would have a very positive impact on fair play.

So far, to keep 50% of Trincão,  Sporting has paid 10.5 million to Barça for his loan and subsequent sale. Now, with this unexpected transfer to Milan, Laporta can see how the operation grows exponentially. To those 10.5 "rocks" these 12.5 million would be added, potentially reaching a  total of 23 million for the entire Portuguese player.

Jorge Mendes Warns Laporta: Francisco Trincão Can Bring a Lot of Money to Barcelona

In recent years, Barça has made many moves with the future in mind. It's not just Francisco Trincão, as there are other players no longer at the club that can still bring in a lot of money.

One example is Mingueza, from Celta de Vigo, who left for free, but with a 50% reservation on his future departure. He has a 20-million euro clause that several teams are willing to pay. From this, Laporta's team would get half, which would mean a great income for a mere discard.

Another example is Nico González, sold to Porto. In the agreement, Barça kept 40% of his future transfer. It could be a bomb, as Liverpool seems willing to pay his 60-million clause, so the blaugrana would get 24 "rocks" out of nowhere.

So far, the only advanced move seems to be Francisco Trincão to Milan.  Laporta rubs his hands after Jorge Mendes's call: 12.5 million euros could fall from the sky.
