Eduardo Inda makes the news official, from Madrid to the Premier League: there's no turning back

An internal decision shakes up the white locker room and brings a major departure closer to a direct rival of Madrid

At Real Madrid, changes never stop; even when everything seems to be in order, unexpected news can shake everything up. This time, journalist Eduardo Inda has dropped the bomb: an important player is very close to saying goodbye. His destination, if nothing goes wrong, will be the Premier League.

Everything points to a decision made from within; the club is pushing him to leave, and he's no longer an untouchable player, not even a starter. Although just a few months ago he was key in Ancelotti's plans, the new coach, Xabi Alonso, has other priorities. The minutes on the field are no longer there, and patience is starting to run out.

From protagonist to the shadows

Rodrygo Goes sees himself at the level of the greats, and with good reason; his performance has been consistent. He has replied in key moments, but the competition in the white attack is brutal: Vinƭcius, Bellingham, MbappƩ... The arrival of the French striker has changed all the hierarchies.

According to Eduardo Inda on Radioestadio, it's most likely that Rodrygo Goes will leave the club this summer. He has even pointed out that his destination is practically set: the Premier League. Several clubs have already shown interest, although no offers have been formalized yet.

A value of 100 million, but with flexibility

Real Madrid doesn't want to sell him for less than his value; they've set a price: 100 million euros. However, they're willing to negotiate; they'd accept 80 million up front and the rest in a second payment. That makes it clear that the deal is viable and that the club is open to letting him go if a good offer comes in.

From the player's camp, the initial intention was to stay. Rodrygo Goes wants to succeed at Madrid. But if the substitute role keeps, and he's not given the prominence he feels he deserves, he won't have any choice but to look for a way out.

Xabi sends a confusing message

In a press conference, Xabi Alonso has said that "he trusts Rodrygo," but in practice, his decisions say otherwise. The Brazilian has lost minutes, important matches, and even relevance in the locker room. He feels sidelined; he feels out of the project.

What started as a simple rumor now sounds like reality. The Premier is waiting. The giants of English soccer are on the prowl, and Rodrygo Goes, without really wanting to, is starting to look elsewhere.
