Emergency meeting with Endrick, ultimatum to Real Madrid: 'Either him or me, if not...'

They discover a meeting between José Ángel Sánchez and the Brazilian forward during Madrid's stay in Palm Beach

Real Madrid is currently competing in the World Cup, but it has several pressing issues on the table. The planning of the squad for next season is ongoing and there are still some matters to solve. One of them is the situation of Endrick, who arrived last summer as the greatest prospect in all of Brazil and never managed to earn Carlo Ancelotti's trust. He hoped his situation would change with Xabi Alonso, but the emergence of Gonzalo García could pose a problem for him.

Emergency meeting with Endrick

In recent hours, Miguel Ángel Díaz, journalist for "COPE", has uncovered a meeting between the Brazilian and two key figures in the Madrid organization: José Ángel Sánchez and Juni Calafat.

"José Ángel Sánchez is at the Real Madrid training camp. There are rounds of meetings with the players. This afternoon, he was together with Juni Calafat meeting with Endrick. Although he's going to miss the Club World Cup due to injury, he seems somewhat uneasy about Gonzalo's emergence. On his own initiative, he decided to travel to the United States and be with his new coach and teammates," he began.

"Miguelito" was blunt: "He's going to turn 19 this summer, he has a contract until 2030 and this would be his second season at Madrid. We'll see if there's any possibility of a departure this summer, if there's room for him and Xabi Alonso decides that Gonzalo stays. We'll see what ends up happening, next year there's a World Cup and Endrick wants to be with Ancelotti."

Endrick, situation in doubt

Endrick arrived at Real Madrid as one of the most promising signings in Brazilian soccer, but his first season in Europe hasn't been easy. About to turn 19, the forward has accumulated only 847 minutes across 37 matches... a record that shows how difficult his adaptation to the pace and demands of the white team has been.

The emergence of Gonzalo García in the FIFA World Cup, delivering top-level performances and quickly earning Xabi Alonso's trust, could push Endrick down the rotation. Although the coaching staff values his potential, the club believes that a loan could be the best solution for him to keep growing and gaining experience in a competitive environment.

Real Madrid doesn't want to rush with one of its biggest bets for the future, but it is also aware that Endrick needs minutes to develop. A loan move, preferably to a LaLiga team, would allow him to continue his development without losing control of his progress.

The talent is there. Now it's time to find the ideal scenario for him to showcase it.
