Edu Aguirre says what many think about Vallecas's field: 'If you're so good...'

'Are you really going to cry that much? You can't complain about everything.' Edu Aguirre points at Barça

Josep Pedrerol raised his voice about the condition of the Vallecas field ahead of Barça's visit. He also scolded the president of Rayo, saying that this can't be done to Barça.

The field at the Vallecas stadium isn't in its best condition, especially on the wings where there's a lack of grass. Barça have taken advantage of the situation to complain and cry before playing the match.

"Are you really going to cry that much?"

Martin Presa, president of Rayo Vallecano, claims that the Vallecas field is in good condition. He responds this way to Barça's complaints before playing there in the third round of LaLiga.

Edu Aguirre, who admits that the field isn't in good shape, has taken the opportunity to denounce Barça's tearful ability to look for excuses and cry before matches.

Pedrerol asked: "Is this a field to play a top-division match in the best league in the world?"

Edu Aguirre replied: "If they're all like this, no. But it's one match, and there have been 15 heat waves this summer (verano)."

"If you're so good..."

"It's not a big deal to play here once. This is the first time I've seen a field like this in the last three years, it's happened once. So...?

Are you really going to cry that much? We already know it's bad and that there could be injuries... It's not a big deal!

But it's not a big deal if Barça's superstars come, who need to have a red carpet rolled out for them. Let them play one match in their lives with a slightly bald wing. So...?

If you're so good, then go out and compete. You can't complain about everything."

Edu Aguirre is against Barça's complaints. He doesn't forget that from the Catalan capital, they took advantage of Real Madrid's protests about the schedule to accuse the white club of crying.

That had a solution in the offices. The Vallecas situation is the result of this summer's heat waves (olas de calor). Meanwhile, it's an inconvenience that Barça will have to deal with, like the others.
