Edu Aguirre Announces Real Madrid's Plan to Win the Cup Against Barça: '60M...'

Real Madrid's locker room is very clear about the plan to defeat Barcelona and lift the Copa del Rey

The Real Madrid closely followed the Copa semifinal between Atlético and Barça. After securing a spot in the final by defeating Real Sociedad, Ancelotti's team wanted to immediately know their opponent. Once the match at the Metropolitano ended, Edu Aguirre revealed on El Chiringuito the plan that the merengue locker room has designed to emerge victorious on April 26 in Seville.

Real Madrid's Plan to Win the Copa del Rey

Edu Aguirre didn't hold back, revealing his conversation with "very important people" from Real Madrid's locker room. "When the match ended, they told me: 'Barça played very well, it's a super team, especially in the first 60 minutes. Then they drop, we can beat Barça.' This is the literal phrase they told me: 'If we work, if we fight and hold on for the first 60 minutes, we'll beat them'."

In this regard, the panelist from El Chiringuito revealed the reason: "Physically, Real Madrid is above Barça. 'If we manage to work and compete in the first 60 minutes, we win the final'."

Finally, Edu Aguirre concluded: "Speaking clearly, and without it being an exclusive, if we don't go out there unfocused and get embarrassed because we're not alert, we win."

Despite all the complications this season and the criticism received, Real Madrid is still in contention for all titles. In all of them, they depend on themselves, with the possibility of lifting the League, Copa, and Champions League.

In the League, they are in second place, just three points behind Barcelona with nine matches left to play, one of which is a Clásico. It's true that it seems the most challenging competition due to having lost the goal average, but there is maximum confidence in the locker room.

In the Copa, Real Madrid depends on themselves, having to face Barça on April 26 at La Cartuja. The plan is clear, as Edu Aguirre revealed: not losing control of the match in the first 60 minutes. Physically, Ancelotti's team is superior and plans to take advantage of this condition in a do-or-die duel.

Meanwhile, in the Champions League, they have to face Arsenal. If they advance, they would play the semifinal against the winner of the tie between PSG and Aston Villa. Meanwhile, if Real Madrid reached the final, they would play against FC Barcelona, Dortmund, Inter, or Bayern.
