Real Madrid TV Puts Imanol in His Place: 'He Only Enjoys Losing to Barça...'

They remind Imanol that he is delighted when the referee disadvantages him while playing against Barça

Real Madrid TV has replied to the criticisms from Real Sociedad's coach, Imanol Alguacil, regarding the referee of the Real Madrid-Real Sociedad match.

Imanol complained about Real Madrid's third goal, in which he saw an offside by Mbappé. He implied that the referee favored and "helped" the Madrid team.

"It was offside. They are usually called. But better not to talk, he didn't call it, and that's it.

We were eliminated with help in an area that should be neutral. Madrid is a big team and doesn't need help.

I'm very clear that they wouldn't have given the goal if it had happened in the other area". Imanol was that blunt.

Real Madrid TV's Response to Imanol

Miguel Ángel Muñoz, a collaborator on Real Madrid TV, took it upon himself to respond on Florentino Pérez's channel. "In case Imanol Alguacil hasn't realized, I recommend he watch the tackle his footballer (Olasagasti) made on Vinicius. They only gave him a yellow card, and it should have been red."

The referee not only made mistakes against Real Sociedad. He also made a series of decisions that harmed the white team. Among them, the red card he didn't dare to give to Olasagasti.

Muñoz also reminded Imanol of Remiro's slap to Bellingham. "In case he hasn't realized either, Remiro slapped Bellingham in the face. The goalkeeper should have been sent off, and a penalty should have been called, but perhaps he didn't notice from his position."

What has most annoyed Real Madrid TV about Imanol is the change in attitude when he faces Barça. "Every time he faces Barcelona, he accepts all the mistakes against his team as if they were his own gifts.

"Maybe He Enjoys Losing Against Barça"

When he faces Real Madrid, he sees a series of ghosts that are tremendous. Maybe he enjoys losing against Football Club Barcelona," he added.

Just a month ago, Real Sociedad fell at Montjuïc by 4-0. In the 17th minute, the referee sent off Aritz Elustondo with a direct red card. It was a controversial decision due to the strictness the referee applied in the play.

Imanol said he didn't like to talk about referees and that the expulsion was fair. Very much in line with Imanol, the same one who heaps praise on the opponent every time he faces Barça.

"It's a pleasure to watch Barça," "they score one or two goals and go for the third, fourth, or fifth. They are being the sensation of Europe," he said recently.

It is evident that Imanol's Real Sociedad is one team in front of Barça and another when the opponent is Real Madrid.
