Dani Olmo to Real Madrid? José Félix Díaz Gives the Answer: 'Florentino Likes Him...'

Florentino has the opportunity to make a bold move and take a star from FC Barcelona for free.

The situation with Dani Olmo could spiral out of control at Barça. Both LaLiga and the RFEF have decided not to register the Barcelona player despite the pressure received. This scenario puts the Catalan team in a bad spot, as they might see a player for whom they paid over 50 million months ago leave for free. Not only that, but Olmo could move to any club he chooses, without any restrictions.

In light of this clause, the rumor that Dani Olmo might head to Madrid has gained traction, a topic discussed by journalist José Félix Díaz. On Rubén Martín's Twitch channel, he was clear: "I asked directly and no. Real Madrid, at one point, was linked to him because Florentino liked him".

The Marca journalist didn't stop there, saying: "Dani Olmo is a highly valued player at Madrid, but this spring there was nothing, and there was a chance to approach him". The reality is this: even if he becomes a free agent, Real Madrid has no interest in the Barça player, nor has there been any pressure to make him leave.

While other teams in Spain like Atlético or Sevilla have been strongly pressuring Barça not to register Dani Olmo...  Real Madrid's plan has been different: wait and stay still. Florentino Pérez has acted with total indifference, trying not to harm the only ally he has in the Super League. It's not in their interest for Barcelona to do poorly, nor will they try to harm them by taking the Spanish international.

Dani Olmo: Total Confidence in Barça, Florentino Pérez Won't Take Him

Despite rumors of his possible move to Real Madrid, Barça already knows this won't happen. In fact, they remain confident about what's coming. They believe they can register him despite having received a negative reply from LaLiga and RFEF, and even though the deadline to do so has passed.

The next step for Barça with Dani Olmo is to request a precautionary measure from the CSD, trying to have him available immediately for the Super Cup. If this doesn't happen, they'll go all out in court.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will watch from the sidelines. Not a word, not a pressure. The only desire is for everyone to comply with the same rules. If Barça manages to register Dani Olmo, good for them, but at no point will he be a transfer for Santiago Bernabéu. This is a completely ruled-out scenario and won't happen, not even for free.
