Radical Turn with Alexander-Arnold: Millions Rain to Reject Real Madrid

The full-back has an offer of over 90 million euros on the table.

It seemed that Alexander-Arnold had everything set with Real Madrid for the next season, however, everything might have changed in the last few hours. Mirror has discovered that Liverpool has made a recent move to try to convince the defender to renew his contract. It ends next June 30, and on the table, he has the possibility of renewing it for five more seasons.

In those five years, Liverpool has made Alexander-Arnold a proposal of 93 million euros gross. This would mean he would earn 18.6 'kilos' annually. We would be talking about figures higher than what he would earn at Real Madrid, which is operating with lower numbers. However, in both agreements, there would be a key difference.

While staying at Liverpool he wouldn't receive any transfer bonus, deciding to go to Madrid would earn him a transfer bonus when signing. This makes the balance tilt, for now, toward Florentino's side, who sees the possible arrival of Alexander-Arnold to strengthen the right flank at zero cost very close.

Should he accept Liverpool's multimulti-million-dollar proposal, the English defender would earn about 300,000 pounds weekly, clearly becoming the highest-paid in the team. Currently, that is Salah, but everything seems to indicate he will leave when his contract ends. At Anfield, they want to retain him and have put everything on the line to try to prevent his departure to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid Has a Plan with Alexander-Arnold

Marca has recently discovered that Florentino Pérez has directly approached Liverpool to try to close a deal for his immediate transfer. There are negotiations, and Real Madrid could reach the figure they are asking for at Anfield: 25 million euros. The first proposal has been rejected, but the reality is that they already know there that Trent Alexander-Arnold only thinks about Santiago Bernabéu.

The understanding between the white club and the English defender is total and could even already be valid, allowing legal negotiations. So far, there hasn't been an agreement with Liverpool, but Florentino Pérez is clear that he can take him for only 25 million euros. He doesn't risk losing him if the transfer doesn't materialize, but he does consider that an immediate reinforcement is needed on the right flank of the defensive area.

Currently, only Lucas Vázquez occupies the position due to Carvajal's injury. The arrival of Arnold is considered very necessary and Florentino Pérez is prepared to pay the 25 million euros that Liverpool is asking for. Real Madrid is going all out to close a deal immediately, and at Anfield, they are willing to reach an agreement, as long as they reach the 25 million they are asking for.

Alexander-Arnold has to decide soon: it seemed he had it done with Real Madrid, but Liverpool wants to convince him with many millions.
