Work hasn't stopped at Real Madrid during these past weeks. There are situations that need to be solved and, although it may seem complicated, the idea is to have everything ready sooner rather than later. In this scenario, a figure no one expected has appeared: a familiar face like José Mourinho, who's willing to help with a lot of money to strengthen Fenerbahce's squad.
Mourinho lends a hand
In recent hours, reports from Türkiye have revealed that Fenerbahce has shown interest in signing Rodrygo Goes. The Brazilian isn't in Real Madrid's plans and is being sought a new destination, although for now it's proving more difficult than was desired. He's been linked to half of the Premier League, but the reality is that no one has made an offer that convinces Florentino Pérez.

Everything could change with José Mourinho's appearance in the equation. He wants him at Fenerbahce and plans to use his friendship to try to convince Florentino. Information from Türkiye suggests they could pay the €90 million ($97.2 million) being asked by Real Madrid using an unconventional formula in negotiations.
The idea Fenerbahce is considering would be to take Rodrygo Goes on loan, paying his entire salary and an extra bonus. From there, they propose that there be a mandatory purchase clause to reach the €90 million ($97.2 million), divided into several installments.
Rodrygo isn't convinced
The main problem in this possible deal, according to what "Madrid-Barcelona" has learned, lies with Rodrygo Goes. The Brazilian believes that moving to Türkiye would be an obvious step back in his career and it's something he can't consider right now.
He'd love to be coached by José Mourinho, but the reality is that the possibility of going to Fenerbahce doesn't appeal to him at all. At the moment, Rodrygo Goes has two options on the table: move to Liverpool or stay at Real Madrid. He rules out the rest, even though he knows he's not in Xabi Alonso's plans.

The Brazilian feels capable of convincing the Basque coach if he ends up staying: he believes he's better than his competitors. He understands that right now he's behind, but if he does stay, he believes he can manage to become important again at Real Madrid.
