Ancelotti, who understands and excuses all of Vinícius's reactions, didn't like the fact that one of Hansi Flick's assistants left his technical area celebrating the 0-4.
And it seemed as if he was trying to justify Real Madrid's resounding defeat against Barça by picking a fight with the blaugrana coach. But Flick didn't play along. He told him he was right and didn't want to argue any further.

It's a tough and difficult time, but we don't have to throw everything away , we just have to forget about the last 30 minutes. We mustn't give up, but learn. We came out of our last league defeat in last year's derby in very good shape and we must do the same."
-Mbappé's poor performance : "We took a risk with his position, they play with a high line and we almost didn't take advantage. He had three or four opportunities and he didn't take advantage of them."
-Friction with the Barça bench: "The problem with the Barcelona bench was with Flick's assistant, who wasn't a gentleman celebrating the goal towards our bench . Flick has agreed with us and that's it."
-Is the score unfair?: " The score doesn't reflect what happened in the game. They took the lead and gained confidence. But up until that point we had more opportunities than Barcelona."
-The after-effects of defeat : "You can learn from a defeat and a bit of self-criticism is essential. But what we must not do is throw everything away because the first half of the team was good.
