What Vinicius, Gavi Said During their Row: 'Yes, Four, but I...'

This is what Vinícius and Gavi said to each other during their exchange at the end of the match.

Vinícius didn't have his best day against FC Barcelona. He was too focused on non-sporting issues, he didn't focus on the game and wasn't decisive, as is almost always the case, in Real Madrid's reaction.

In the 80th minute, referee Sánchez Martínez showed Vinícius a yellow card for stomping on Pedri.

Vinícius took the referee's decision badly and approached the referee to point his index finger a hand's length away from his face while saying "you're always the same, always the same," making it clear that he was harming Real Madrid.

The referee could have sent off the Real Madrid player. All that was needed was to show him another yellow card for his insolence and disrespect protesting his decision.

Five minutes later, Iñaki Peña complained to the referee from afar about a foul on Íñigo Martínez and Sánchez Martínez wasted no time in showing him the yellow card for protesting.

Vinícius could have been sent off if the referee had used the same criteria with him as with Iñaki Peña. But he didn't dare.

Vinícius wasn't involved in the game today, which is why he got into a fight with Gavi at the end, the two of them hugging each other and saying all kinds of things.

What Gavi and Vinícius said to each other

Gavi reminded Vinícius, as he often does with other rivals, that Barça was winning 0-4. He didn't need to kiss the badge, he simply said it.

And Vinícius hugged him and dragged him forward, while Koundé tried to separate them. In those five steps they took with Gavi walking backwards, Vinicíus told him to watch TV on Monday because there he would see him with the Ballon d'Or.

He reminded him that Barça could win a match 0-4, but he would take home the Ballon d'Or for being the best throughout the year.

It was an anecdotal note in a match that had hardly any moments of friction between the two teams, except for Ancelotti's clash with Flick's second goal for celebrating one of the goals in an overly ostentatious manner.
