Pedrerol Turns El Chiringuito into a Big Party for Inter Fans: 'What Joy!'

El Chiringuito Unleashes Its Euphoria and Celebrates Barça's Defeat Like a Real Madrid Title

El Chiringuito became a big Inter party last night to celebrate Inter's victory over Barcelona.

Nothing else could be expected from Josep Pedrerol's show, Florentino Pérez's favorite.

Happy with Primo Zumosol's Victory Over Barça

Their Madridist collaborators, almost all practicing scarf journalism, celebrated Barça's elimination to the fullest. That Real Madrid is out of Europe since the quarterfinals doesn't matter.

Even Juanma Rodríguez admitted that Barça's defeats make him happier than Real Madrid's victories.

After the 0-4 and 2-5, the Madridist propaganda machine needed a Primo Zumosol, or a referee, who knew how to stop Barça.

Tomás Roncero, a Lifelong Inter Fan

Tomás Roncero, deputy director of the As newspaper, acted as an entertainer, dancing and showing off an Inter jersey.

Alfredo Duro joined the party by acknowledging Barça's greatness, which makes its rivals celebrate their defeats as if they were their own titles.

He brought out a musty banner he keeps for big occasions: "Just like Aytekin to PSG, Inter sends Barça packing." The happiness in El Chiringuito's Madridist camp was infinite.

Barça's elimination, falling with dignity and scoring six goals  erases Real Madrid's quarterfinal debacle against Arsenal (1-5).

Guti, Eating Popcorn

They prefer to remember Aytekin, ignoring what the Madridist Marciniak did to Barça yesterday. They aren't interested in that.

Guti, a serious analyst for DAZN in their LaLiga broadcasts, was having a blast with Juanma Rodríguez. While Jota Jordi explained his grievances about the refereeing decisions at San Siro, they ate popcorn enjoying the situation.

"Call Me Mediocre"

Juanma Rodríguez put the finishing touch on the Madridist ecstasy: "Call me mediocre, I'm a mediocre because I'm happier when these guys lose than when I win. Today, La notte!"

Pedrerol laughed heartily at his collaborator's antics. Good humor, what is customary on El Chiringuito when Barça loses.

Nothing to do with the "we'll rise again," "Real Madrid will return"… and what is heard on the show in a solemn tone when the whites lose.

"What joy this club gives me," concluded Juanma Rodríguez. It's Barça's greatness: their victories and defeats make everyone happy.
