Deco Knocks out Vitor Roque: He Comes from France to Barça to Take His Place, Confirmed

The Barça sporting director already has his sights set on a striker who will prevent the Brazilian from returning.

Vitor Roque will play his first match against Barça this Saturday since arriving in Spain, and he will do so knowing that he has a tough time returning one day. The Brazilian is on loan at Betis with an option to buy and, in order to accept this move, he set a condition that he doesn't have a fear clause. This will allow him to take his revenge, but knowing at all times that negotiations are already underway with his replacement: Jonathan David .

Deco has made the decision after much thought . Barça need a top-level backup striker and they see it as difficult for Vitor Roque to perform as expected when he arrived . That's why negotiations have already been activated to bring in a top-level striker next season such as Jonathan David. The Canadian is delighted and has already released his interest in wearing the blaugrana jersey as soon as possible.

Jonathan David 's contract with Lille expires on June 30 and he will be free to go wherever he wants for free . He wants to play for Barça and Barcelona want him too. However, it is not as simple as it seems, as a financial agreement needs to be reached. To accept, the striker is asking for 80 million euros over the next four years . This figure includes his salary, transfer bonus and the bonus for his agent.

Deco is thinking about it, although it is true that Jonathan David is the main candidate that Barça is considering to reinforce its attack. Vitor Roque knows this first hand, seeing his return to the blaugrana team next season as very complicated .

Vitor Roque: Loaned to Betis, Could Leave Barça Permanently

Vitor Roque is on loan for two years at Betis , who have an option to buy him. In total, they can do so for 25 million euros, which would buy 80% of his rights , also adding variables.

At the end of the first season, Laporta could bring the player back to Barça for free, with this possibility on the table. If he doesn't do so and Betis decide to exercise the purchase option after the second season of the loan, he could return to the Catalan side.

For this to happen, Barça will have a buy-back right for 27.5 million euros, which would serve to keep him as their property again .

He has played 18 games for Betis so far, scoring 5 goals . He is dying to play against Barça, especially knowing that his replacement could arrive soon.
