Confirmed! Luis Díaz Says Goodbye to Liverpool and Has a New Team: ‘No to Barça’

The Colombian is making a radical change in his career: he is leaving Liverpool for €85 million, and he is determined

Luis Díaz has become Barcelona's number one target to strengthen the attack, but it seems that the Colombian doesn't have the same plans at the moment. Although he has always shown his admiration and affection for Barça, the reality is that he currently has a very tempting offer on the table. Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia wants him and not only offers him a lot of money, but also intends to turn him into the new Ronaldo.

In the coming days, Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from Al-Nassr is expected to be announced and there is a need to find his replacement. The chosen one is none other than Luis Díaz, for whom they are willing to pay the €85 million ($85 million) that Liverpool is currently asking for. Barça can't reach this figure, and they see how their market priority is slipping away.

Luis Díaz already says goodbye to Liverpool

Amid exit rumors, what nobody expected is that he would use his Instagram account to send a farewell message.

"So another season at this unbelievable club comes to an end. What a season! The desired league title has returned to Anfield. The Premier League is ours, and it's amazing to know that nobody doubts we were the best and that, because of that, we truly deserved it. We were a real team, a strong group, a family, always backed by extraordinary fans. It's hard to find fans as dedicated and passionate as these anywhere in the world. Anyone who plays with this badge will someday miss this unbelievable atmosphere. My thanks to everyone: teammates, coaching staff, club staff, and fans. It's been an unforgettable season that I'll always carry in my heart," wrote Luis Díaz.

Luis Díaz leans toward Saudi Arabia: He won't wait for Barça

Madrid-Barcelona has learned that the Colombian's intention is to decide his future sooner rather than later. He has set a deadline to know his new team, which will be at the end of June. He has a contract renewal offer from Liverpool on hold, which he doesn't seem willing to accept.

Taking all this into account, Luis Díaz would currently lean toward heading to Al-Nassr and rejecting Barça. In Saudi Arabia, they're offering to immediately pay the €85 million ($85 million) that Anfield is asking for, in addition to having put forward a salary that is unattainable for the culers. Everything seems to be a matter of weeks and Deco has already activated the machinery for his plan B: Marcus Rashford.
