Barça Beat Espanyol, Marc Casadó Rules Out a Transfer: 'It's...'

Hansi Flick's team have won the Barcelona derby against a tough and difficult Espanyol.

FC Barcelona managed to take all three points at Montjuïc after beating Espanyol 3-1. Hansi Flick's team have undoubtedly made another impact, clearly winning the derby and, in addition, distancing themselves even further from the top of La Liga... already with 33 points after 12 games.

In the first half, Barça clearly imposed itself on Espanyol, scoring three goals in the first 45 minutes. In the most attended match of the season at Montjuïc (48,843 spectators), Dani Olmo shone with his own light, scoring a double and being key in his return to the starting eleven.

It wasn't just Dani Olmo who scored against Espanyol. In addition to the Barcelona youth player's brace, Raphinha also contributed to the blaugrana party, finishing off an excellent assist from Marc Casadó .

Marc Casadó causes a discard in Barça: unnecessary

It's constantly being demonstrated that Marc Casadó is at a level far above the rest. The youth player, and former captain of the reserve team, didn't have any opportunities under Xavi, and although under Hansi Flick he started out as a substitute... the reality is that he has earned, without a doubt, his place in the Barça starting eleven.

Nobody can move him from that position and it has become clear that he has the level to occupy it for the next few years. Having just turned 21, Barça sees the central midfield position well covered by Marc Casadó and Bernal, so they have decided to cancel any transfers in the position.

Or, in other words, the possible arrival of German Joshua Kimmich, who was Flick's main request when he arrived at Barça , has been ruled out. "It's unnecessary," they think at the club.

Everyone talks about the same thing with Marc Casadó

In this victory against Espanyol, another assist for Casadó. He doesn't stop, he is one of the Barça players who is giving the most goal assists this season.

With the one he gave to Raphinha in the derby, Casadó now has five assists between La Liga and the Champions League, having played a total of thirteen games this season.

Marc Casadó is a key player for Hansi Flick and no transfer will be able to stop him from progressing. In Montjuïc, a comfortable victory against Espanyol and another display from the Catalan pivot, who will soon receive a call-up from Spain for the senior national team.
