Vinícius on the Tightrope: Florentino Says Enough and Puts Him on the Market

The Real Madrid President is very disappointed with Vinícius's play

Florentino Pérez isn't one to get heated and act on impulse. But the turmoil is internal, and he's been enduring it all season.

Like all of Madridism, the white president is well aware that Vinícius's performance has experienced an alarming drop.

The arrival of Mbappé, far from enhancing the play exhibited by Real Madrid last season, has weakened it.

The decline in Vinícius's performance has a lot to do with this season's results. Florentino Pérez is clear about it and is seeking solutions.

The president doesn't accept that an issue of egos or jealousy has anything to do with this Vinícius that nobody likes. In London, he went unnoticed.

Vinícius Could Leave... But Only to Arabia

What was impossible for Florentino Pérez a few months ago, placing Vinícius on the market, is now feasible.

He won't ask for the one billion of his release clause. He'll settle for 300 million. He also won't allow him to strengthen any of his rivals.

But Real Madrid's doors are open to the Arab offer... as long as they're willing to pay 300 million euros.

Florentino Pérez doesn't believe this Vinícius deserves a special effort to retain him, unless his performance takes a dramatic turn immediately.

Real Madrid doesn't need to sell, it doesn't require extra income. But it won't turn down 300 million if Vinícius doesn't say otherwise with his play from now until the end of the season.

Things Aren't Better with Mbappé

The white president is very upset. He didn't expect the 3-0 at Fly Emirates. He was convinced that Mbappé's arrival would turn the LaLiga and European champion into an invincible team.

But, far from improving the team's prowess, Mbappé's presence doesn't guarantee the LaLiga title or the Champions League. Both competitions are in jeopardy.

Florentino Pérez doesn't believe Mbappé is to blame. Real Madrid won't publicly admit its intention to sell Vinícius mid-season. But at the end of it, important developments may occur if there's no significant change in his play.
