Vinícius is Not Enough: Arabs Want Another Top Player as Offer Remains Firm

Vinícius is not the only Real Madrid player who is of interest to Saudi Arabia

Florentino Pérez knows that Saudi Arabia is determined to bring Vinícius to their soccer. The goal is for him to become the image and ambassador of the 2034 World Cup.

Real Madrid is confident in how much the white club gives to its Brazilian star. They are also confident that the sporting glory and honor of playing at Bernabéu will outweigh the money they are offering him in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is Not Satisfied with Vinícius Alone

But the news is that Saudi Arabia doesn't just want to take Vinícius. Another top Real Madrid player is also in the Arabs' sights.

This was revealed by José Félix Díaz from Newspaper MARCA. The best goalkeeper in the world, Thibaut Courtois, is also a priority target for Arab soccer.

But unlike Vinícius, Courtois has never expressed his intention to leave Real Madrid. He hasn't even reported that he's received an offer he can't refuse to leave Real Madrid.

The Saudi Pro League is determined to make its competition one of the leading ones in the world. They have plenty of money and are willing to invest whatever it takes to attract as many stars as possible from the international environment.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema are currently the leading players in this league. But there are more: Neymar, Kanté, Firmino, Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, Milinkovic-Savic, Mitrovic, Bono, Brozovic, Mané and Laporte are proof of this.

Real Madrid is Not selling, but They Could Negotiate... if Courtois wants

But they want more. They want best goalkeeper in the world, Thibaut Courtois, who has a contract with Real Madrid until 2026 and a clause of 700 million.

At Real Madrid they are more worried about Vinícius than Courtois. The Brazilian is suffering harassment at all levels, which is tempting him to say enough. This is not the case with Courtois, who is happy in Madrid and at Real Madrid.

He only has problems with Atlético de Madrid fans. However that is a one-shot problem motivated by the envy that his move to Real Madrid caused at the time.

The offer Saudi Arabia is expected to present to Real Madrid for Courtois is 70 million euros and could reach to 100 million. Real Madrid is not selling him and would only agree to negotiate if the player himself asked to leave.

Courtois, meanwhile, is guaranteed a tax-free 20 million euros a year on a five-year contract—roughly double of what he earns at Real Madrid.
