Unexpected, Florentino Prepares a Bombshell for Madrid's Bench: 'It's Not...'

Florentino Pérez Finds an Alternative Option to Xabi Alonso to Be Real Madrid's Next Coach

Real Madrid is preparing changes for the next season. Florentino Pérez is very angry after what happened in the Champions League and plans to give the entity a complete makeover. Not only in the squad, where there will be signings and departures, but also on the bench, where Carlo Ancelotti is likely to leave. Despite his contract ending in 2026, he will be proposed a mutual termination in the coming weeks, already thinking about his replacement at the helm.

It's Not Xabi Alonso: Florentino Prepares a Surprise at Real Madrid

Although many voices take for granted Xabi Alonso's arrival on the bench of Real Madrid, the truth is that there is a strong alternative. In recent hours, TalkSport has revealed that Jürgen Klopp remains an option to become the next Madridist coach. He hasn't coached since his departure from Liverpool, although he now holds another position where he is very well paid.

For some time now, Jürgen Klopp signed as Red Bull's football manager until December 31, 2029. So far, things aren't going too well for him, and the idea of returning to the benches sooner rather than later might be crossing his mind. He has ruled out his return to the Premier League, where Liverpool will be his last club, something he publicly confirmed upon leaving.

In this regard, TalkSport has pointed out: "More and more people are lately suggesting that Jürgen Klopp is gaining strength in the Bernabéu's box. People close to Florentino Pérez are suggesting that the German might be the only candidate who could fix this season's tactical disaster."

Jürgen Klopp Has a Clause to Leave

Until now, it seemed that Klopp was untouchable in his position at Red Bull and would only leave for an offer from Germany. This has changed due to poor results, and the mentioned information has revealed that there is a clause in his contract that any club, including  Real Madrid, could pay.

So far, everything seems more speculation than anything else. At the moment, Xabi Alonso seems the best positioned to succeed Ancelotti in the role, but Florentino would keep Jürgen Klopp in his sights.
