Tomás Roncero Speaks Out and Explains Mbappé's Problem at Madrid: 'I...'

The journalist from El Chiringuito gives the key to Mbappé's poor start at Real Madrid.

Tomás Roncero hasn't held back on El Chiringuito after Real Madrid's tough defeat against Liverpool. The journalist has spoken clearly about Mbappé's poor performance and has even explained what his problem is and why he is not getting off to a good start. He started by saying: "I am not going to destroyMbappé. First, because we need him. It's absurd, friendly fire that leads to nothing. He is not going to leave Madrid. He's been signed for 5 years and he is 25 years old."

In this sense, Tomás Roncero has been blunt about Mbappé's problem: " He feels blocked because the jersey is weighing him down. When it stops weighing him down, he will be the player we've seen with France. He will give more of himself, burying him is the worst solution. It would mean condemning him to ultimate failure."

"I've realized that we need to save Private Mbappé. He's having a hard time because the jersey is too big for him. He's disappointing, it's true. But he's worth it because he's got tremendous talent and is 25 years old," Tomás Roncero concluded about Mbappé.

Tomás Roncero: Understanding with Mbappé... and Ancelotti

Roncero didn't only stand up for Mbappé. He also did so of Ancelotti, whom he has defended and has asked not to leave Real Madrid. Speaking about the match against Liverpool, he said: "I have a feeling of total disappointment and frustration. Madrid did what it could."

He went on to say: "I understand what Carlo Ancelotti did. The thing is that six months ago we reigned at Wembley and it seems like six years have passed. Right there, we beat Liverpool 5-0 two years ago. The team tries, fights and has a 10-point attitude."

"We have to rethink the situation, I'm sure they will be reinforced. I have to say to the culés that I feel sorry for them, because Ancelotti will continue until the end. No one will kick him out. What he did today is not to protect the locker room. It is to protect the project," Roncero concluded about the match between Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Calm down with Mbappé at Real Madrid

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is completely calm about Mbappé. They understand that he is struggling, as it has been for many other players. He needs time. He is not responding as expected, but he is a player who, as soon as he gets over his mental block, will be unstoppable again.
