A new year, Carlo Ancelotti's future at Real Madrid is in doubt. Although his contract goes until 2026, various voices suggest he is far from Santiago Bernabéu. Rumors linking him to the Brazil national team have fuelled again recently, although Tomás Roncero has been clear and forceful: he is not moving.
Tomás Roncero speaks clearly about Carlo Ancelotti
Before the Real Madrid-Leganés match, Tomás Roncero was clear on El Larguero of Cadena SER. The journalist has no doubt and pointed out that for him to leave, "a cataclysm" would have to occur.
"The feeling I have is that he is going to stay, it would have to be a cataclysm. Imagine that Real Madrid loses LaLiga, Arsenal eliminates them in the Champions League, they lose the Copa final... There are four titles at stake, if they lost all four, it could be considered and even then it wouldn't be certain," Tomás Roncero began.

"How impossible it is to me that Madrid, with its potential and squad, doesn't win anything," Roncero added. "As long as they win some title, I'm telling you that Ancelotti will fulfill his contract. The proof is that they renew Ancelotti in mid-season without knowing how that season would end."
"Information I have myself... Ancelotti is not considering the Brazil issue now, in his head he only wants to fulfill his contract with Madrid, which ends in 2026. And if it ends well, he doesn't even rule out, if he has the energy and strength, being able to continue," he continued.
"I understand the Brazilians because he is the best coach in the world for me," said Roncero. Finally, he concluded: "but Ancelotti is not on offer, Ancelotti has a contract with Madrid and wants to fulfill it."
Carlo Ancelotti stays at Real Madrid
There is currently no intention to part with Ancelotti at Real Madrid. The idea is for him to fulfill his contract, being replaced in 2026 by Xabi Alonso, who also ends his contract.
As Tomás Roncero has explained, only a cataclysm in the remainder of the season could make Carlo Ancelotti leave Real Madrid early. For now, he is alive in all competitions and fighting to win all titles. Florentino hasn't made any decision yet and plans to wait for the coming months to have everything clear.
