Brazil Makes a Move and Dorival Júnior is Out — Vinícius Receives the Call: ‘Now’

The CBF assigns the role of leader to Vinícius Júnior, who now has the goal of convincing Carlo Ancelotti

It's confirmed,  Dorival Júnior is no longer Brazil's coach. Three days after the 4-1 defeat against Argentina, the Canarinha has decided to change coaches. It's time to start a new phase there to return to the top of everything.

The plan is clear: give the leadership to  Vinícius Júnior. He is the big star at the moment and needs to feel important.

It's practically a matter of state in Brazil: they can't fail with the new coach now. There have been conversations within the locker room, with Vinícius at the forefront, and the first goal is clear: Carlo Ancelotti. After Dorival Júnior was dismissed, the star of Real Madrid received the call: "Now we have to convince him," referring to the Italian coach.

Vinícius could take Ancelotti from Real Madrid

The excitement is high in Brazil, and they hope Vinícius will help convince a Carlo Ancelotti whose future is in doubt. He has a contract with Real Madrid until 2026, and right now, it's unclear what will happen with him. Not long ago, he was really close and even had a firm agreement with the CBF, but it wasn't signed, and everything fell apart.

In Brazil, they have hope that the figure of Vinícius Júnior, in addition to Rodrygo, can help. However, they know that it's most likely Carlo Ancelotti will end up saying no and stay at Real Madrid.

Brazil has a plan B: Carlo Ancelotti isn't the only one on the list

In this regard, considering the difficulty of convincing the Italian, the CBF is already exploring other options. The next on the list is the Portuguese  Jorge Jesus, currently at Al-Hilal. He has experience coaching in the country and is highly regarded as a candidate for this team's bench.

The main problem lies in his multimillion-dollar contract with Al-Hilal. Jorge Jesus would be delighted to be Brazil's new coach and would give it top priority. This option hasn't been defined yet, and the CBF will possibly wait until the next Club World Cup, which the Arab club will play.

The idea is clear: Carlo Ancelotti is the priority, and Brazil will try to use Vinícius Júnior's influence. It's not easy, and the alternative has already been defined, with Jorge Jesus being the most obvious candidate.
