The two key signings to fix Women's Real Madrid are at Barça

Another target is the English international Keyra Walsh, whose contract ends on June 30 and who has already announced her departure

Florentino Pérez is tired of losing with his women's soccer team. He seeks a solution to reverse the situation against FC Barcelona. Among the options is the dissolution of the section.

However, that will not happen. Real Madrid can't go against the social trends that prevail today. The 16 defeats in the 16 clásicos played, many of them with a thrashing, sting at Real Madrid.

Women's Real Madrid Accept Disallowed Goals

Florentino Pérez asks and he is always told the same thing: "Barça is in another galaxy." Or "Real Madrid is second in Spain and among the top eight in Europe, but Barça is still far ahead."

The president is annoyed with his coach's explanations, as he's been saying for two years that the gap with Barça has narrowed. On Sunday, they replied with a five-goal defeat.

Two and a half years without scoring a goal against Barça. Alberto Toril responds: "We scored a goal, didn't we?" They replied that it was offside and disallowed.

Toril's reply was: "But it was a goal." In other words, Real Madrid Women are now even accepting disallowed goals.

"Barça Has No Rival in Spain, Europe, or the World"

Journalist Juanma Castaño expressed his point of view on Tiempo de Juego's El Tertulión: "Real Madrid can't afford to have such a losing section. Either you make a competitive section, or you don't make it." Paco González added to his opinion: "If money isn't enough, you have to change the coach or something."

Andrea Peláez replied to both: "Barça has no rival, neither in Spain, nor in Europe, nor in the world." She justified that the problem is not Real Madrid but the level of Barça.

What Real Madrid is not going to do is waiting for the retirement of Aitana, Alexia, or Patri Guijarro to try to respond with titles. To improve Real Madrid, they need to fine-tune their signings (many have been made and few have been profitable) and try to reduce Barça's potential.

Florentino attempted to sign Alexia Putellas when she was negotiating her renewal with Barça. He also tried with Mariona Caldentey, but she preferred to go to Arsenal. Now he will try again with two other Barça stars.

Real Madrid's Two Main Targets Are at Barça

One is Salma Paralluelo, an international and world champion who is not getting the minutes she deserves at Barça. In fact, she started the Super Cup final on the bench.

Real Madrid will attempt an approach to Paralluelo, taking advantage of her substitute status at Barça. It would be a high-profile signing.

Paralluelo's contract with Barça ends in 2026, and she will be free. But if Real Madrid doesn't want to wait, they could solve the operation with a transfer that wouldn't exceed half a million euros (approximately $530,000).

The other player that Real Madrid likes a lot is the Norwegian Caroline Graham Hansen, one of the best players in the world and whose  contract will also terminate in 2026. These are the two main targets for Real Madrid to end Barça's supremacy.

The Keyra Walsh Option

They could also add the English international Keyra Walsh. She doesn't have a place in Pere Romeu's Barça, overshadowed in midfield by Alexia, Aitana, and Patri Guijarro.

Walsh's contract ends on June 30 and she has already decided to leave Barça. She has offers to return to England but would listen to Real Madrid if they make an offer.

Right now, Real Madrid sees no other solution than to weaken Barça to strengthen Real Madrid. If Salma Paralluelo and Graham Hansen are joined by another starter from Pere Romeu's team, even better.

They will never be Aitana or Alexia, whose commitment to Barça exceeds the contractual aspect. However, Real Madrid's market focus should be on Johan Cruyff, the scene of Women's Barça's successes.
