Siro López Drops the Bomb: Florentino Pays Release Clause — He’ll Play for Real Madrid

The journalist offers the latest on Real Madrid in the transfer market: there's a surprise, Florentino pays

Florentino Pérez isn't wasting time. He intends to give a lot of importance to the upcoming Club World Cup, and he doesn't want anything to go wrong. For that reason, the president of Real Madrid is moving quickly in the market, trying to close strategic signings. In the last few hours, Siro López has surprised on his YouTube channel, making public what the next signing to arrive at Santiago Bernabéu will be.

With Huijsen announced and Arnold closed, Florentino hopes to finalize the signing of Carreras next week. But Siro López goes further, and has put forward the name of the fourth player Florentino wants: Nico Paz. The youth player aims to return to Real Madrid this summer, taking advantage of Modric's departure and intending to take his place. It's a strategic return, having to pay only the €8 million of his buyback clause for him to come back.

Siro López takes it for granted: Nico Paz returns to Real Madrid

"Once the regulations don't pose problems or obstacles to more than three additions for that Club World Cup, Real Madrid, as I told you a couple of weeks ago, is very close to paying the €8 million clause to Como to be able to buy back the Argentine. Expect that next week there will also be news around Nico. The Italians paid €6 million for his services and right now Real Madrid would have to pay a couple of million more. The information is that he will be incorporated," indicated Siro López.

In this sense, Florentino's plan couldn't be clearer: he will pay Nico Paz's €8 million clause for him to return to Real Madrid. Everything has been discussed with the young Spanish-Argentine, who is eager to return after learning about Modric's departure. The main concern he had was the few minutes he might have, but everything has changed, and he has accepted his triumphant return to Santiago Bernabéu.

Nico Paz earns his return to Real Madrid

Nico Paz has established himself as one of the great revelations of European soccer this season. At 20 years old, the Argentine midfielder has completed an outstanding campaign at Como, a club with which he has played 34 official matches. His impact has been immediate: he has scored 6 goals and provided 9 assists, showing a maturity beyond his years and a technical quality that has caught everyone's attention.

Real Madrid has already taken note. Nico Paz will return to Santiago Bernabéu this summer, with the hope of earning a spot in Xabi Alonso's squad. His return won't be merely symbolic: in Valdebebas, they trust his progression and believe he can contribute from the bench as a quality game-changer in the final stages of matches.

Paz is a footballer with vision, dribbling, and the ability to arrive from the second line, qualities highly valued in Madrid's current playing model. In a context where young talents who can settle in the long term are sought, his profile fits perfectly.

Nico returns with strength and is ready to make the big leap. Bernabéu is already waiting for him, as Siro López has announced.
