Recommended by Kroos: No More Trouble for Real Madrid, Florentino Says

Toni Kroos recommended to sign a compatriot and Florentino didn't think twice: for free to Real Madrid.

Kroos was in the Spanish capital last Saturday, watching Real Madrid's match against Villarreal live. After spending the entire 90 minutes in the box, he went down to what used to be his dressing room until recently, where, among others, he met Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez.

In a brief chat, Toni Kroos recommended Florentino to sign a compatriot. Given the problems that Real Madrid is facing in the defensive line, he put the name of Jonathan Tah on the table... whose contract ends on June 30.

Jonathan Tah is expected to join Real Madrid at the age of 29, signing a short-term contract (around three years) and with a salary in line with the team's wage bill. He doesn't want to renew his contract with Leverkusen and would be delighted to join the Santiago Bernabéu.

Newspaper BILD has revealed that Florentino Pérez has already started negotiations to sign Jonathan Tah, ruling out Bayern from his list of interests. Barcelona is also on the table, although the reality is that Real Madrid should have the lead.

Kroos Plays in Favor of Real Madrid

Not only has he recommended the possible transfer of Jonathan Tah to Florentino, but he's also spoken to his former teammate in the national team, telling him wonderful things about Real Madrid.

Kroos is not the only one who holds the key to this operation. At Leverkusen, Jonathan Tah is coached by the Spaniard Xabi Alonso, who could be the next coach of the Madrid team.

Although Ancelotti has a valid contract, Florentino Pérez is considering the possibility of letting the Italian manager go depending on the results at the end of the season.

If Ancelotti ends up leaving, the chosen one would be none other than Xabi Alonso, whom Jonathan Tah would be delighted to meet again. In this case, in Spain.

Jonathan Tah has Three Options

At the moment, Madrid is the team best positioned to sign Jonathan Tah, but the reality is that the German player has a few options to decide.

In addition to Los Blancos, Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona are also on the table. Kroos and Xabi Alonso could play a key role in his decision, while Florentino has already decided to sign him for Real Madrid... provided he arrives for free.
