Real Madrid keeps planning its squad for next season and is doing so having closed the signings section. This is what Josep Pedrerol announced on the latest episode of "El Chiringuito," making it clear that "there won't be any more." The last one of all will be Álvaro Carreras, already finalized and with a presentation date set.
Álvaro Carreras, presented on Tuesday
Pedrerol was emphatic, stating: "Carreras is the signing that was missing. Mastantuono will be presented on August 14, when he turns 18 years old. Álvaro Carreras will be presented this Tuesday as a new player for Real Madrid. Everything is finalized and secured. He has been in Madrid finishing up all the details. This is an 'El Chiringuito' exclusive, his presentation will be on Tuesday."
Carreras will join Real Madrid from Benfica, after a very tough negotiation was finalized. In total, the €50 million ($54 million) release clause will be paid in several installments. Going the opposite way will be academy product Obrador, who is heading to Lisbon for a total of €5 million ($5.4 million).

There won't be any more signings
Josep Pedrerol didn't stop there. Taking advantage of the fact that it was the last episode of "El Chiringuito," he kept delivering news.
The most striking for Real Madrid's supporters is that the incoming transfer market is now considered closed. "We already have Arnold, Huijsen, Carreras, and Mastantuono. I'm told there won't be any more signings," the Catalan journalist stated.
This means that Florentino Pérez will now focus all his efforts on sales, setting aside Xabi Alonso's well-known request for a midfielder.

Pedrerol goes on vacation
This July 13 was the last episode of the season for "El Chiringuito."
It was born in 2014 after the end of Punto Pelota on Intereconomía, and since then it has kept an uninterrupted presence on screen through various Atresmedia channels, such as Nitro, Neox, Mega, and LaSexta.
The show has managed to reinvent itself season after season, without losing its essence: unfiltered soccer talk, passion for the sport, and heated debates with a distinct Madrid-Barça rivalry flavor. Its longevity is already a phenomenon: more than a decade on air, leading its late-night slot and going viral every night on social media.
Now, it will take a few weeks off and will return in grand fashion on August 11, before LaLiga kicks off.
