From Morocco to Madrid, Xabi Alonso celebrates the big news: new 'signing' for his debut

Real Madrid and their coach are quietly preparing a key comeback that could change the course of the season

Real Madrid is already in preparation mode for a schedule packed with commitments. The Club World Cup is looming on the horizon and the white team doesn't want any surprises. The physical and mental demands will be high for the players, and the coaching staff are working to arrive in the best possible condition.

This summer will be special for many footballers, but especially for Brahim Díaz. The Málaga-born forward, who experienced discomfort in the last league match, has passed a reassuring medical check-up. There is no muscle injury, which reassures Madrid and especially Xabi Alonso, who trusts his quick recovery.

Brahim Díaz: vacations, national teams, and challenges

Brahim has taken a few days off, like the rest of the team, before returning to training. The 2025-26 season is packed for him. Not only because Real Madrid have many matches, but also because of his commitments with the Moroccan national team.

His activity with Morocco begins as soon as next week. He will join the squad for two official FIFA friendlies: June 7 against Tunisia and June 10 against Benin. Brahim, as the team's star, won't play the full matches, but his role will be essential.

In addition to training and matches, Brahim will have responsibilities off the field, related to his role as a national figure. This shows his personal and professional growth, and also the trust placed in him.

Heading to Miami and the Club World Cup

After those friendlies, Brahim will return to Real Madrid's routine to prepare for the tour in Miami. Madrid's debut is set for June 18 against Al Hilal. Then, there will be matches with Pachuca on the 22nd and Salzburg on the 27th.

If everything goes well, the team will advance to decisive stages that could end with a final in New Jersey on July 13. This is a key tournament to measure the team's level and for Brahim, who wants to keep consolidating himself.

An intense schedule but full of passion

The 2025-26 season will start with the three major tournaments: La Liga, Copa, and Champions. For Brahim, the demanding year will come with his national team. In September, he will face crucial qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, playing against Niger and Zambia, with drafts that could be repeated in October and November.

The most desired event will be the Africa Cup, which will be played in Morocco from December 21 to January 18. Brahim will have the pressure of leading his country against Comoros, Mali, and Zambia. This is a challenge that excites, but also demands a lot.
