Endrick has become Real Madrid's most disappointing transfer this summer. In the little time played, he's shown glimpses of his level, but Ancelotti daren't draft him.
Vinícius Asks Ancelotti about Endrick
The young Brazilian prospect is going through very difficult times and his friend Vinícius has decided to intercede on his behalf. He asked for a talk with Ancelotti to find a solution to Endrick's poor performance at Real Madrid.
Endrick has only played 136 minutes, little more than a full match, so far this season. After Vallejo, he is the player Ancelotti has used the least.
The player is desperate because he isn't included in rotations. Behind the Mbappé-Vinícius-Rodrygo trident is Brahim, then Arda Güler. He is the last striker.
In those 136 minutes Endrick has scored two goals, against Valladolid and Stuttgart.
A Goal Every 68 Minutes: Top Average
A goal every 68 minutes. That's not a bad average but Ancelotti is clear: He's not counting on him, at least for now.
When he scored against Valladolid, throwing getting past everything, Ancelotti said of him: "Endrick has balls, because it was a clear chance and he decided to finish like that."
In conversation with Vinícius, however, Ancelotti has made it clear that his main concern at the moment is to recover Mbappé. He has Endrick as an alternative for the Frenchman.
Ancelotti understands that Mbappé's situation is delicate and that what he needs now is minutes and not doubts.
"Saving Private Mbappé" is a Priority for Ancelotti
Endrick is young and his time will come, Ancelotti believes. That time is not now, when the coach is busy with the task of "Saving Private Mbappé."
Vinícius is clear about it. His friend Endrick's time will come when Mbappé regains confidence in his game.
He will be his alternative in the rotations. In the meantime, the Frenchman will play everything.
Endrick will have to wait, although his patience has its limits. He's been a regular with the Brazilian national team and feels that he's stagnating at Real Madrid.
His idea is to ask for a loan in the winter market in order to recover the minutes he lost in the first part of the season with Real Madrid.
He is convinced that he has a place at Real Madrid and is willing to prove it to Ancelotti at another team.
