Manolo Lama Warns Florentino after the Latest on the Real Madrid: 'This No Longer...'

The COPE journalist is fed up after Real Madrid's recent debacle in Vallecas.

Real Madrid couldn't get past a draw in Vallecas and missed a golden opportunity to lead LaLiga. After the match against the Rayo, Manolo Lama, a journalist from COPE, was very upset following the merengue setback and even sent a clear message to Florentino Pérez.

Manolo Lama began his commentary by stating: "Everyone was asking Carlo Ancelotti to rotate, so he did. And Madrid didn't win. And Madrid stumbles just when they shouldn't to put pressure on Barça".

In this regard, Manolo Lama continued: "Madrid, when using the B team, which are all very good and possibly should be obliged to beat Rayo Vallecano... it's not the same as using the A team".

Finally, the COPE journalist was blunt: "Madrid needs to wake up and please, this rotation thing, that's not working anymore".

Manolo Lama expressed the general feeling of Madrid fans after what happened against Rayo Vallecano. Real Madrid didn't fall because of the rotations, even though they were more than capable of winning in Vallecas. It was due to their play, which this season hasn't been convincing under Carlo Ancelotti's leadership.

Ancelotti opted for a very offensive line-up, placing Courtois in goal, trusting Rüdiger to lead the defense, once again joined by Tchouaméni. In midfield, he gave control to Modric. Meanwhile, up front, the trio of Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Brahim created a lot of danger. The first half saw a very contested match with many goals, leaving the score tied at 2 at halftime.

In the second half, Real Madrid managed to take the lead for the first time, but the joy didn't last long. Despite Rodrygo breaking the tie, Isi equalized in the 64th minute, scoring a great goal that was celebrated in Vallecas.

In Madrid, there's general frustration over a result that shouldn't have happened. And Manolo Lama is clear about who's to blame: the one making them play so poorly. Neither rotations nor anything else. In Vallecas, they fell due to their own shortcomings, or so the COPE journalist suggests.
