Barça could not get past a draw in their match against Celta, despite having more players on the field for many moments. This is the opinion of José Luis Sánchez who has not hesitated to attack the referee of the match, Soto Grado, for his poor refereeing in Balaídos. During the course of the match, he pointed out several very 'questionable' decisions.
First, José Luis Sánchez strongly criticized Soto Grado for not having signalled a clear penalty by Gerard Martín on Iago Aspas in the first half . This would've been his second yellow card of the match, having received the first one a few minutes after the match started. Once again, Martín was forgiven for being sent off before the end of the first half, for a criminal tackle on Aspas .
In his ' X ' account, José Luis Sánchez blamed the influence of Negreira, former vice president of the CTA who, supposedly, was paid for several years by Barça. After the match between Celta and Barça (2-2) , the journalist from 'El Chiringuito' showed his anger at the final result: " And that's despite the CTA being sublime ," he said.
Minutes later, José Luis Sánchez used his 'X' account again to reply to his colleague Carme Barceló. The Catalan, a Barça fan, highlighted the "good game" played by Héctor Fort, to which the journalist replied: " Don't forget Soto Grado. The best ."
Jose Luis Sanchez, Angry after Celta-Barça, Robbery in Balaídos
José Luis Sánchez's feelings are the same as those of the entire Real Madrid fan base. Barça deserved to lose against Celta and could only get a draw because, for many minutes, they were playing with an extra player. Gerard Martín's expulsion did not happen and Soto Grado ended up tipping the match in the blaugrana's favor .
Barça's expulsion came in the final minutes, swinging the game in Celta's favor. Soon after, the Vigo side reduced the deficit and, a minute later, equalised the score. Many Real Madrid fans are wondering what would've happened if Gerard Martín had been sent off at the right moment.
In any case, the general feeling at Real Madrid is that, with two games in hand, the gap is only seven points. They cannot afford to let down Barça after their stumble against Celta and, if they win the two remaining games, this gap will be reduced to just one point .
