José Luís Sánchez Drops his Bomb: Real Madrid's Target after El Clásico

The 'El Chiringuito' contributor believes that he is "the big target" after the 0-4 against Barça.

Real Madrid ended El Clásico in a very bad way against Barça. The 0-4 did a lot of damage to the Bernabéu's main floor and José Luís Sánchez has raised the name of the player who has been most affected: Mbappé. He had a poor game, he failed in foolproof actions and at every turn he fell into the trap that the culers' defenders had prepared for him.

In a message posted on his 'X' account after El Clásico, José Luís Sánchez described this defeat as a "deserved punishment" and didn't mince his words. The El Chiringuito commentator indicated that the second half against Barcelona was "lamentable, with no attitude again and no collective commitment, which left Barça with a rout."

This 0-4 for Barça was "cemented on the lack of effectiveness of Mbappé", who had arrived at Real Madrid to conquer the world and, at the moment, is having a hard time. José Luís had no doubts in naming Kylian as "the big target of the Clásico" after having made errors in attack unbecoming of a player of his level.

Jose Luis Sanchez doesn't mince his words: Mbappé, singled out in El Clásico

Mbappé was caught offside on eight occasions against Barça. He was constantly making runs and his teammates were looking for him, but he was never really positioned in attack. The Barça defense caught him out at all times, pushing their line forward and taking his chances.

When he was able to find his back, he failed. In errors unbecoming of a footballer like Mbappé , the Frenchman shot three times on goal, but didn't score. He did score two goals, but in both cases he was in an illegal position.

Mbappé doesn't improve Madrid

Without Mbappé, Real Madrid dominated Barça in every game last season, won La Liga and won the Champions League. The arrival of Mbappé, together with the departure of Toni Kroos, leave Real Madrid on the brink of knockout. So far, Mbappé hasn't shown the interest that Real Madrid put into transfer him for seven years. When he wasn't caught offside, he crashed in one-on-ones with Iñaki Peña.

The reality is this, and José Luís Sánchez hasn't been afraid to put him in the spotlight. He is the highest paid player in the squad, but so far he is not performing as such, more is needed from Mbappé.
