Florentino Pérez isn't at all pleased with what he's hearing about Vinícius Júnior. In the last few hours, a direct meeting with Saudi Arabia has been leaked, behind Real Madrid's back... in which this possible move was reportedly discussed. He has two and a half years left on his contract, and although he has publicly expressed his desire to stay longer at Bernabéu, the president has taken a stand.
Marca has revealed that a drastic decision has been made at Real Madrid regarding Vinícius Júnior. "At Valdebebas, they are clear that no moves can be made regarding his contract, neither now nor in the summer. Real Madrid has been prioritizing the club's interest over any footballer's for quite a few seasons," states José Félix Díaz in his report.

At Madrid, with Florentino Pérez at the helm, they don't understand the timing of all this. He has plenty of contract time ahead, and no renewal will be proposed. If all these leaks are a ploy to earn more, the reply is clear and forceful: there will be no negotiation.
Absolute Calm at Real Madrid with Vinícius Júnior
In this regard, there is no fear at Real Madrid about the possible departure of Vinícius Júnior. If he wants to leave and Saudi Arabia reaches an agreement to take him, the price is already set. It is the one set by the release clause of his contract until 2027, valued at 1 billion euros.
He won't be allowed to leave for less, unless he releases statements about his departure. If the situation spirals out of control, no challenges will be accepted. This has happened before with Florentino in charge: good examples of this are Ronaldo or Sergio Ramos.

The main condition Vinícius Júnior sets to stay is to have a higher salary. Currently, both he and Bellingham earn the same as Mbappé, but he feels there's a catch. The Frenchman, like him, pockets about 15 million net per season, but also receives an additional 40 million, corresponding to the signing bonus that was prorated annually.
It's all about money, and he feels "sidelined" since Mbappé's arrival. This is something Saudi Arabia intends to capitalize on, with a proposal of 1 billion euros net for five years there.
