Vinícius Júnior Tells Florentino Pérez: 3 Conditions to Say No to Arabia

The Brazil international sets a price for his renewal with Real Madrid.

Vinícius Júnior's contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30, 2027, and it is necessary to clarify his future as soon as possible. For months, the Brazilian international has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia, trying to convince him with a salary exceeding 1 billion euros over five years. At the moment, the footballer's priority is to stay at Bernabéu, but he sets conditions that Florentino Pérez already knows.

Vinícius Júnior Tells Florentino Pérez: 3 Conditions to Say No to Saudi Arabia

Madrid-Barcelona has learned that the recent interest from Saudi Arabia has changed everything in Vinícius Júnior's renewal. Although his priority is to continue at Real Madrid, right now he is not clear about where his future lies. He has had important meetings with the Middle Eastern country, which has put the conditions on the table to secure his signing.

Vinícius Júnior intends to use this as he has already contacted the president of Real Madrid to explore his renewal. He sets three conditions and hopes they are met, although he knows that his gamble could go wrong, as has been demonstrated with Florentino Pérez in recent years.

The main condition set by the Brazilian is to have a higher salary. At the moment, both he and Bellingham earn the same as Mbappé, but he considers there is a catch. The Frenchman, like him, earns about 15 million net per season, but also receives an additional 40 million, corresponding to the signing bonus that was prorated annually.

He doesn't ask for the same as what is offered in Saudi Arabia (200 million tax-free) because he knows it is completely impossible, but he wants to receive the same treatment as Mbappé. In this regard, his second condition is also directed: he wants to feel equally important to the public. Since the Frenchman's arrival, he believes he has been 'demoted' to a second tier at Real Madrid.

Finally, Vinícius Júnior also wants the same treatment as his teammate Mbappé regarding image rights. At the moment, everything he generates goes to Real Madrid, while the Frenchman pockets 70%. This must change, and he has clearly conveyed this to Florentino Pérez.

Everything is now in the hands of the president of Real Madrid, who has never liked ultimatums and will have no fear in showing him the door if he deems it necessary.
