Florentino Pérez Decides: €15M and Farewell to Real Madrid, Now Confirmed

Betis is preparing an offer to sign Dani Ceballos in January.

Florentino has few untouchable players at Real Madrid and the truth is that Dani Ceballos is not one of them. Mundo Deportivo has discovered that Betis will go after their youth player again in the next January transfer market and intend to take him permanently.

Dani Ceballos is not closing any doors, although his main objective is to stay at Real Madrid. If Betis wants him, they will have to speak directly with Florentino, who would be happy to accept his departure if the ideal offer came.

Real Madrid values Dani Ceballos at 15 million euros; no more, no less. His contract runs until 2027 and the intention is to recover the investment made in 2017.

Florentino has Dani Ceballos's Replacement in Mind

The relationship between Florentino Pérez and Zidane remains magnificent. It cannot be said that the president and the former Real Madrid coach speak every day but they do hold regular conversations in which, in addition to life, they talk about soccer.

In one of these conversations, Zidane has put a proposal on the president of Real Madrid's table: letting Dani Ceballos leave next summer and signing his replacement at zero cost. It's free and it's a real bargain.

Zidane wanted him when he was coaching Real Madrid and now that he is without a team he has again proposed signing him, although with the novelty that he could arrive free of contract. We are talking about Rayan Cherki, Olympique Lyon midfielder, whose contract ends on June 30, 2025.

He has just turned 21 and a bright future is expected to lie ahead for him. In fact, Zidane sees himself reflected in some of his moves, which is a big deal. Rayan Cherki will consider all his offers from January 1st, when he'll be able to negotiate with any team that is interested in taking him on a free transfer.

In the event that Dani Ceballos ends up leaving for the 15 million euros that Florentino is asking for, the reality is that the ideal replacement has already been thought through. There's total calm: if Betis comes for the Andalusian, let it be with money upfront, as Real Madrid has always asked for.
