"I think it's clear that Xabi Alonso will be the coach of Real Madrid next season," pointed out Eduardo Inda. This means that Carlo Ancelotti will leave the merengue team at the end of the season, despite having a contract signed until June 30, 2026.
Real Madrid is expected to start a new cycle with Xabi Alonso, whose contract with Leverkusen also ends in 2026. His contract includes a special release clause for the merengue team, which they would pay without any problem to have him seated on the bench at Santiago Bernabéu.
