Confirmed against Espanyol! He's out of Real Madrid: Carlo Ancelotti Made the Decision

In a packed schedule with much at stake, Real Madrid decides to dispense with a player who always performs.

Real Madrid doesn't have an easy schedule, but Carlo Ancelotti keeps indulging in the 'pleasure' of leaving out someone who always performs well: Raúl Asencio. In a match, on paper, easy due to the opponent's status, the Italian coach  has once again left him on the bench. Against Espanyol, the Canary Islander has added another bench appearance, in a decision that no one understands and that has no possible defense.

Raúl Asencio has stopped being as important for Carlo Ancelotti in recent matches. 68 minutes as a full-back against Valladolid, 7 against Brest and now to the bench against Espanyol (coming in for the injured Rüdiger). The feelings are not good for the youth defender and he's starting to see a bleak future at Real Madrid, especially with David Alaba's recovery.

The truth is that Raúl Asencio expected to start in the Espanyol field, considering that they are a team in the relegation zone. However, Ancelotti is clear and has always shown it: Tchouaméni is ahead of him. What no one understands either is the lack of rest that Rüdiger, the mainstay of the merengue defense, is having.

Raúl Asencio knows it: it's impossible for him with Carlo Ancelotti

It's no surprise for Raúl Asencio, it's something he already expected, but it doesn't stop being painful for him. He is the last in line for Ancelotti, and he will be even more so now that Alaba has recovered. The Austrian is regaining form after a long-term injury, but the coach of Real Madrid has everything planned for him.

As soon as he is in full physical condition, something that should not take long,  David Alaba will be a starter at Real Madrid. He will take the position from Tchouaméni, who will return to the midfield. On the right side of the defense will be Rüdiger, and on the left Alaba.

Meanwhile,  the one who won't change his position will be Raúl Asencio, who, like against Espanyol, will remain on the bench. What's positive for the youth player at Real Madrid is that Carlo Ancelotti also considers him for the right-back position, also weakened by Carvajal's injury.

It's not an easy situation for Raúl Asencio to handle. Performing well and without making mistakes, he has lost the position that cost him so much to achieve. And without any kind of explanation...
