Florentino Already Has the Replacement: If Vinícius Leaves, He'll Announce It Within 24 Hours

Real Madrid Has Decided Who Will Be Vinícius's Replacement If He Decides to Leave Bernabéu

At this point in his career as president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez's hand doesn't tremble for anything or anyone.

Not even for the possibility that Vinícius might accept the offer he has from Arabia and leave Bernabéu. What would be a drama for many is not for him.

That will only happen if the Arabs put 500M euros on the table of the white president. It is half the price set for the Brazilian star's release clause. For less than that amount, Vinícius won't go anywhere.

The Precedent of Cristiano Ronaldo

As it happened at the time with Cristiano Ronaldo, Florentino won't get nervous. He has plan B and plan C to activate immediately. There won't be earthquakes at Bernabéu.

A few years ago, Cristiano Ronaldo went to Florentino Pérez's office to ask for more money because Messi was earning much more.

Florentino didn't flinch. He simply told him: "bring me the money from your clause, we'll sign Messi, and you can leave".

It was the last response Cristiano Ronaldo expected. Florentino told him very convinced that this is what would happen if he brought 1 billion.

But that didn't happen. Cristiano Ronaldo left years later for less money, but also at a different age.

The same happens with Vinícius. If he wants to leave, he will, but not for free. With the money he would leave, Florentino would sign Julián Álvarez, the Argentine star from Atlético de Madrid.

Florentino Would Announce Julián Álvarez 24 Hours After Vinícius Leaves

He would do it immediately, 24 hours after Vinícius leaves. Obviously, Atlético won't be willing to negotiate with Real Madrid. But there's nothing to negotiate.

His clause is 150M. Florentino would deposit it in LaLiga and acquire the player's rights. It's that simple.

At Real Madrid, there are no doubts. There would be no need to scour the market. It's decided who can be the only player to replace Vinícius.
