Alphonso Davies has become Real Madrid's priority for next season. Florentino Pérez has been interested in signing him for some time. Hec already knows first-hand the conditions that the full-back has set for accepting the offer. He could join Santiago Bernabéu on a free transfer.
Bild has discovered that Davies has set high demands for accepting Real Madrid's offer. In total, he's demanded a salary of 10 million euros net per season, in addition to a transfer bonus valued at 15 million.
Florentino Pérez's reply has been clear and straight. He's willing to pay the bonus, but he'll have to lower his salary demands. Instead of the net 10 million that Alphonso Davies is asking for, Real Madrid has made him a proposal of 8 million.
There will be no problem. Alphonso Davies has already responded positively to Florentino's offer and will become a Real Madrid player if there's no unexpected turn of events. It is true that he's aroused the interest of several teams, but the Canadian knows that there's nowhere like Madrid.
In 2025, Davies will arrive at Madrid free of his contract with Bayern, with the label of a starter and the intention of winning many titles wearing the white team's jersey. Nothing can be signed yet, but starting from January 1 it will be possible. Florentino has the Canadian's word and expects him to keep it. This operation is considered a done deal.
Not Just Alphonso Davies: Florentino Follows Another Bayern Player
Beyond Alphonso Davies, the Madrid president has found another top-level target in Bayern, who also ends his contract in 2025.
Florentino's chosen player is none other than Joshua Kimmich, a German midfielder who plays for Bayern Munich. In the coming months he'll be free from his contract in Germany. Then he'll be able to negotiate for Real Madrid at zero cost, with the approval of a significant part of the dressing room headed by his compatriot Rüdiger.
Questioned by Florentino Pérez, Rüdiger couldn't have had better words to say about Kimmich. He considers him an example, a true captain both on and off the field, and believes that he could fit in perfectly at Real Madrid. In his own words, he's basically a player who can't be let go.
The president hopes to add a player of Kimmich's caliber to Alphonso Davies. He's working on it and already has one of the two.
