Ancelotti Accepts Tottenham Swap Deal: Farewell Madrid, Hello €70M Transfer

Carlo Ancelotti has given his approval to the exchange operation under consideration at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid are constantly receiving offers for their players, even though the market is not open. The latest has come from Tottenham, who have shown interest in a Real Madrid striker, trying to exchange him for one of their defenders. We are talking about Brahim, currently recovering from an injury, who could return to England in a swap deal for a compatriot of his: Pedro Porro.

Tottenham have been interested in Brahim for some time now and believe that the time has come to sign him. Following Carvajal's serious injury, Madrid need a top-class right-back and Pedro Porro is on the list. The Spaniard is valued at around 70 million euros, the same as the Spanish-Moroccan, so this exchange operation is viewed favorably by both clubs.

Ancelotti knows this possibility first hand and has given his approval, believing that Pedro Porro could be a good replacement for Carvajal. However, at the moment there's nothing advanced. Florentino has another priority for the right flank and wants to wait to see if he can get him at zero cost, which seems good.

Pedro Porro wants to play for Real Madrid

The full-back, a Spanish international, has never hidden his love for Real Madrid. In a recent interview with 'Relevo', Pedro Porro couldn't have been clearer: "The fact that Madrid is interested in you is because you are doing things well. That is how I think on a day-to-day basis, well, if that moment has to come, it will come."

Porro is aware of this possibility and has left the door wide open, although he knows that right now it is a complicated move. These operations with so much money involved don't usually take place in the winter market, so everything suggests that it will be delayed until next summer.

Pedro Porro, to Madrid: there's already a replacement for Brahim

If this operation between Madrid and Tottenham ends up coming to fruition, Florentino already has in mind who should replace Brahim.

Real Madrid have retained a buy-back option on Nico Paz, which allows them to control his future. In addition, the club owns 50% of his rights, giving them the flexibility to get him back. Real Madrid are closely following his performance at Como, and his good form could facilitate his return next summer.

With the talent he has shown, Nico would be a valuable addition to the team. His return would offer new opportunities in midfield and would be a great reinforcement for a squad that always strives for excellence, especially if Brahim comes out for Pedro Porro.
