Costco never stops surprising its customers, and this time it's set on pampering its most exclusive members. The American chain has launched new benefits for its Executive Members, the premium members who enjoy the best the store has to offer.
Who are executive members and why do they matter?
Executive Members are customers who pay more to get an enhanced shopping experience at Costco. This membership costs more than the standard one, but it offers many advantages.
Now, Costco wants to make these users feel even more special and motivate others to make the jump to this category. It's a smart move to keep its most loyal shoppers and improve the experience for everyone.

Early access: shop without rushing or crowds
One of the most eye-catching new features is that, starting June 30, Executive Members will be able to enter the stores one hour earlier than everyone else. From Monday to Friday, exclusive access is from 9 to 10 a.m.; on Saturdays, from 9 to 9:30; and on Sundays, from 9 to 10 a.m.
This allows them to shop at their own pace, without pushing or endless lines, especially on weekends when stores usually get very crowded. In addition, on Saturdays, stores will now be open until 7 p.m., one hour later than before, to give all customers more flexibility.
More bonuses for frequent shoppers
It's not just about getting in first. Executive Members will also receive a $10 monthly bonus if they make purchases over $150, whether in the store or through Costco Instacart.

This extra is added to the well-known 2% annual cashback on their Costco purchases, which can reach up to $1,250. It's a real incentive for those who shop regularly.
Is it worth paying for the executive membership?
Of course, the Executive Membership costs $130 per year, more than double the standard $60 membership. If you're someone who goes to Costco often or you have a large family, all these benefits can quickly make up for that extra expense. Getting in early, receiving discounts and bonuses, and feeling like a privileged customer, sounds like it's worth it, doesn't it?
Costco's strategy to keep the best customers and attract new ones
Costco rewards its loyal customers and creates FOMO among those who don't have the Executive Membership.
With these changes, Costco is aiming to give extra value, improve the shopping experience, and, of course, increase spending in its stores. It's a move that seems to be working and is already revolutionizing its stores in the United States.
