Tomás Roncero Breaks the Silence Replying on Lewandowski's Goal: 'Absolutely...'

The journalist from El Chiringuito has given his opinion on Lewandowski's goal disallowed for being offside.

Tomás Roncero hasn't missed his opportunity to talk about the goal disallowed for Lewandowski against Real Sociedad. In the midst of the controversy, the contributor to El Chiringuito hasn't held back and has referred to it on his X account. As expected, he is clear that it was correctly disallowed and considers it "absolutely well done for the VAR" to have illegalized the 1-0 for Barça at Anoeta.

"In this enlargement of the image of the semi-automatic offside, you can clearly see the tip of Lewandowski's boot, which makes his position illegitimate. Goal correctly disallowed. Absolutely well done for the VAR," Tomás Roncero posted on his X account.

Roncero was closely following the match between Real Sociedad and Barça. A few minutes after the end, he didn't hesitate to point out that "we have a great League". He also congratulated the "great Real Sociedad" for their victory. In this sense, he wanted to praise the figure of Imanol Alguacil. He stressed that the txuri-urdin team was superior to the team trained by Hansi Flick.

Tomás Roncero ended the weekend happy, to the point of sharing the front page of his other leading newspaper, AS. The title is very clear: "Real Sociedad Owns Barça".

Anger at Barça: Lewandowski's Goal Was Legal; Tomás Roncero is Wrong

Despite Tomás Roncero's biased opinion, Barça is clear that the semi-automatic offside technology was misused. The "live" image leaves no room for doubt and it was possible to see that the player positioned last was the Real Sociedad defender.

What Barça finds absurd is that, in an image that took almost 10 minutes to appear, Lewandowski's foot can be seen going through the opponent. Clearly, the Polish striker's foot was well positioned and he wasn't in an offside position.

In any case, Barça is not going to make any public complaints. Not like Tomás Roncero and his Madrid. It is true that Lewandowski's 0-1 should have been allowed on the scoreboard. Still, the controversy is over: It was a bad game in which they didn't deserve to win.

Madrid is happy to go into the break, having the chance to reduce the lead over Barça to three if they beat Valencia. Tomás Roncero, who was sad, is now happy. But it's okay: Life goes on and it's time to improve the image shown at Anoeta.
