Tomás Roncero gave a lesson last night on El Chiringuito about how the single-minded thinking of sociological Madridism can tarnish the rival's achievements.
The deputy director of AS wasn't amused by Barça's comeback. This is because, for epic moments and such things, there is already Real Madrid exclusively.
As is usual for him, he resorted to the referee wildcard to overshadow the great result achieved by Barça last night in Lisbon.
The List of Referees Collaborating with Real Madrid
Roncero placed the referee of the Benfica-Barça match, Dani Makkelie, on the same level as Ovrebo and Aytekin. They are the reference referees when it comes to throwing dirt at Barça. The other wildcard, Negreira, is only for the Spanish competition.
What Roncero has never explained, nor will he, is the list of referees collaborating with Real Madrid. Nor the list of victims that Madrid has left throughout history.
There Carlo Ancelotti can help him, who knows a lot about what it's like to suffer a refereeing injustice at Bernabéu. In the long series of comebacks, there hasn't been one without the referee's help with a penalty, or two, or some expulsion.
However, the sociological Madridism media sector keeps quiet about that. Roncero already has his Holy Trinity: three recognizable referees in three matches. His problem is that memory doesn't reach far enough to gauge the help Real Madrid has received in Europe throughout its history.
9 Penalties in Favor and 0 against in LaLiga
Real Madrid has 9 penalties in favor and 0 against in LaLiga. And Roncero dares to question others' penalties. Slander, something always sticks, that's the strategy.
9 penalties for Madrid seem too few. 0 against, too many. And anything related to Barça, worse than bad.
It's about tarnishing Barça's image, even when they win, play well, and show commitment. That's why Barça is where it is in Europe, and Real Madrid is still searching for the lost commitment in some of its players.
Roncero talks about Lamine Yamal's dive. He keeps quiet that the referee had to be corrected by VAR because he didn't see a penalty in the stomp on Balde inside the area.
He also didn't see the dive of the Benfica player jumping over Barça's goalkeeper, who didn't even touch him in Benfica's penalty. Roncero shouts a lot and keeps quiet even more.
That's how Roncero explained himself last night in his latest display of visceral and irrational anti-Barcelonism:
"To the Atlético fans, congratulations because they've come back in good faith, they've played a professional and winning match. To Atleti, chapeau.
I can't say the same about Barça, and they know it. Remember these three names, because they've entered the pantheon. Ovrebo, Aytekin, and from today, with all honors, Dani Makkelie.
"The Holy Trinity of Barça's Wonderful History"
Makkelie has decided to enter the holy trinity of Barça's wonderful history. He's done it with that refereeing group that Rafinha loves so much when he crosses the Pyrenees.
Makkelie said: “This can't stay like this, our Barça can't suffer again after what happened in Getafe. We've seen what Laporta has stirred up. And they've seen that suffering of the culés with the penalties."
And he said: "Let's see, first, 4-2, to the rescue. What happened? Lamine Yamal's dive?
He did it perfectly: Penalty, we're in there. And in the last minute, poor Benfica tries to score the glory goal.
And Fermín arrives, climbs on top, pushes him, does the unthinkable... How is he going to stop the counter? And on top of that, Raphinha scores, that's why the man was so happy.
"You Meet with Ovrebo and Aytekin and Have..."
The same play doesn't have a unified criterion with different referees. But today it was the same referee and the same VAR.
Lamine's dive is a penalty, and the same referee says Fermín's collision isn't a penalty. He has a great criterion.
Dani Makkelie, you've earned it and chapeau to you. The Holy Trinity consummated.
One day you meet with Ovrebo and Aytekin and have some beans with sausage and also with potatoes, as Laporta said."
