The Boost That Solves Barça's Financial Problems: Florentino Has Already Used It

Barça finds a way to collect 200 million euros that will allow the registration of Olmo and Pau Víctor by January 1

FC Barcelona is in a difficult financial situation, to the point that two players, Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, won't be able to play from 1 January onwards.

Laporta is looking for creative solutions that will allow Barça to get out of this dramatic situation.

It's all about getting money out from under the rocks and Joan Laporta has found a way.  He's following in the footsteps of Florentino Pérez, who already activated the same boost some time ago.

Barça will sell 200 VIP seats through Sixth Street. Madrid already did so with the same company. These are individual VIP seats, not VIP boxes, which are already sold for an average of 300,000 euros per year.

These are individual seats with the right to catering, performances, tours and museums.

200 Million in VIP Seats

Each seat will cost 250,000 euros and an assignment period of between 10 and 15 years is being considered.

Newspaper Sport, through its television program La Posesión, has revealed the news. It is known that a company from Qatar would be willing to take over a large package of VIP seats.

The aim now is to raise 200 million euros in cash to benefit from the 1:1 rule again. This way, Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor could be registered on January 1st.

The renewals of Pedri and Gavi could also be discussed, as they have already been agreed. However, they won't be announced until the economic situation allows it. Laporta hopes to be able to make the announcement in January.

With this extraordinary income, FC Barcelona could improve its finances and even consider signing a top player next summer.

There Will be Money to Sign

It will be done with the approval of Goldman Sachs, which has financed the work. A significant part will go to reduce the debt of Camp Nou.

Barça is subject to the 1.1 rule, earning these 200 million and adding them to Nike's advance bonus. There will be cash to operate in the market and meet the coach's needs in terms of transfers.

In this regard, the same source speaks of a winger and a top center forward who would arrive to replace Lewandowski. The reports point to Erling Haaland.
