Jota Jordi, the Barcelona supporter, provoked the Real Madrid fans on El Chiringuito by boasting about something that Real Madrid will never have.
He referred to the fact that "you have a lot of money, you can sign whoever you want. Mbappé, whatever. A stadium, which to me is very ugly, but it cost a lot of money and it's the best in the world...
...But you won't have, Tomás, 8 players on your team kissing the badge and feeling it more than you do.
...And it happens to me every Sunday, that I see players I've watched since they were 10 years old wearing Barça's jersey. And they defend the badge more than I do.
And they aren't just teammates, they're brothers, because they've been competing for ten years. You have Champions, you have leagues, you have a stadium, you have Tchouaménis, Camavingas, and Mbappés. But you'll never have this.
That's why we are more than a club and you are just a club.
Tomás Roncero attended Jota Jordi's speech bursting with laughter to respond out of his mind with absurd arguments.
The Value of Madrid's Academy Is Seen in Its First Team
They are unable to accept such overwhelming evidence as this. Madrid always has to be the best... even if it isn't.
By the way, they call the exchange of arguments on El Chiringuito: "The Most Culé Speech of @jotajordi... that unleashes the laughter of TomasRoncero!!"
It already gives an idea of where the script and editorial line of the show, whose director is allegedly a culé, is heading.
Tomás Roncero laughed because he is convinced that Real Madrid's academy is better than La Masia. He won't be able to say it because of the Madridist contribution of its young talents to the national team. Nor because of the presence of academy players in the first team.
Barça's "Kids" Hurt a Lot in Madrid
And much less because La Fábrica is capable of "producing" talents like Lamine Yamal, Cubarsí, Balde, Gavi, Fermín, or Casadó. They may be "kids" but they look at everyone in the rearview mirror in LaLiga.
And they didn't need play-offs to play the Champions League round of 16. Nor to win 4-0 at the Bernabéu or to conquer the Super Cup with a 5-2.
Tomás Roncero boasts about anything, also about Real Madrid's academy going back to the eighties with Castilla. To its fraudulent Copa final against Real Madrid or its participation in Europe.
There are no more arguments than that to counter La Masia's heavy artillery that leaves Mbappé in a secondary or tertiary role.
One has to resort to the eighties as they respond with the 15 Champions (many of them under suspicion) to cover up the present's miseries. And to Negreira when it's not about selling smoke.
And then a young guy, already 22 years old, Raúl Asencio, comes out. They all agree that he is a phenomenon...
Roncero's Explanations
And the coach prefers any injured foreign veteran over playing him. That's not something to boast about.
This is how Roncero explained himself:
"Madrid's academy has three things that La Masia will never have.
1.- We played a Copa final that you will never play (Castilla)
2.- We won the league in '84 in the Second Division, which you will never win.
3.- We played in Europe the Cup Winners' Cup against West Ham. You will never play in Europe with La Masia."
These are the weighty reasons with which Roncero intends to weigh Asensio in the balance. And putting the counterweight of Lamine Yamal, Cubarsí, Balde, Gavi, Fermín, Casadó, Gerard Martín, or Héctor Fort.
Barça plays every match with six, seven, eight homegrown players while Real Madrid has trouble finding a sample.
If They Are Capable of Denying Evidence Like This...
The issue is not that they play because there is no money to sign, but that being "kids" they are better than the best in the world who wear white.
If they are capable of denying evidence like this, how won't they deny everything else. Anything that isn't to their liking. A penalty that isn't, for example.
But Real Madrid is the best at everything. Then things like the Ballon d'Or happen, which force them to wake up from their dreams and they get championship-level tantrums.
And they can't stand that the magic mirror tells them there's another one more beautiful.
