PSG Negotiates for Dani Olmo and Luis Enrique Calls Laporta: 'In Good Faith...'

PSG presents its bid to keep Dani Olmo if Barça fails to register him today or tomorrow

Public enemy number one for Paris Saint-Germain is no longer FC Barcelona. The focus is now on Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappé's departure has allowed Barça to step out of PSG's spotlight, which is now busy with Real Madrid.

Additionally, Joan Laporta's distancing from Florentino Pérez has led to PSG and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi's approach to Barça.

Luis Enrique Calls Laporta "in Good Faith"

Meanwhile, the presence of a devoted Barça fan like Luis Enrique on PSG's bench eases relations that were very tense until recently.

In terms of sporting management, additionally, the relations between both clubs are excellent. Deco and Luis Campos keep a non-aggression pact that they've strictly adhered to in recent months.

Because of this, as the relationship between both boards is on its way to becoming even friendly, Luis Enrique has taken the first step in PSG's interest in Olmo.

Luis Enrique has called Joan Laporta and asked him, "in good faith," about the situation with Dani Olmo.

PSG doesn't intend to launch a hostile takeover against Barça or take advantage of the player's contractual situation to get him for free.

PSG: Ready to Make the First Offer

However, they've communicated that, if Dani Olmo becomes free and has to leave Barça, Paris will make the first offer.

Would it be shaped as a loan until Dani Olmo can be registered legally?

Deco and Luis Campos will have to figure that out. At Barça, however, the idea is for Dani Olmo to continue playing normally starting January 1st.

In the RMC talk show, the French El Chiringuito, there was already speculation last night about Dani Olmo's fit at PSG.

Former player Grégory Paisley is clear: "Olmo would fit, he's compatible with Luis Enrique." It's no secret that Dani Olmo is a player Luis Enrique likes very much. This was shown last World Cup in Qatar.

PSG presents itself as an option on Barça's horizon to find a solution for Dani Olmo. However, Joan Laporta hopes to convince the judge and LaLiga today with his arguments. He will resort to the announcement of the sale of new VIP seats at Camp Nou worth 100 million.

Only if a solution for the player's registration isn't found, Barça could negotiate a loan with PSG.

Although Olmo always has the final say and could demand a release letter. It is signed in his contract.
