Barça's Point of View: 'Real Madrid Will Make a Comeback.' There Is No Doubt

At Barça, they are clear about what will happen on the magical night being prepared at Bernabéu for next Wednesday

FC Barcelona players followed with great interest the match that last night pitted Arsenal against Real Madrid in London.

Although Hansi Flick shared the images of the Real Madrid match with those of Bayern-Inter, which also captured their attention.

The blow that Real Madrid took was tremendous and surprised everyone. Although Barça, precisely, knows better than anyone the weaknesses of Real Madrid, as they showed in the 0-4 and 2-5 this very season.

The Epic of Bernabéu

However, despite the heavy defeat of Madrid, Barça players are convinced that the white team will move forward.

There will be a historic comeback. Barcelona players know very well the epic of Real Madrid at Bernabéu: penalty in favor, player sent off and... easy as pie.

It is what they are convinced is going to happen. Real Madrid will show a more ambitious side and the usual "circumstances" will play in their favor to keep them moving forward.

Even so, Barça players are convinced that Real Madrid enjoys a favorable media environment that allows them to remain favorites.

It is what happens with Mbappé, whom Madrid media have become accustomed to calling "Mbappé, the best player in the world".  Adding a curious and gratuitous second surname. They wonder why.

Mbappé joined a team that was champion of LaLiga and Europe and has serious problems maintaining that status with his presence. On an individual level, he is far from Lewandowski and only keeps up by padding his stats with penalties.  Best player in the world? they wonder at Camp Nou.

Among "Everyone" They Will Get Through the Knockout Stage

Meanwhile, it is surprising that Madrid media now think that Real Madrid "had been warning". Real Madrid hasn't played anything for a long time. But those same media celebrated their last-minute victories against Leganés or Real Sociedad with great fanfare.

They also don't understand at Barça that in Madrid Josep Pedrerol talks about Real Madrid as the best attack in Europe. It is not possible when their offensive trio has scored 20 goals less than Barça.

But at Camp Nou, no one doubts that among everyone they will get through the return match against Arsenal. And in everyone, besides the media, the referee is included. Anything else would be a surprise.
