Official: These are the players Deco puts on the market: 8 leave and 3 arrive

Deco sets a revolution in motion to achieve excellence in Barça's squad

A very busy summer is coming to FC Barcelona's offices. Deco has already done his homework and has defined the famous "list of discord": eight players are officially on the way out. The goal is clear: to cash in to strengthen the squad with three strategic signings that will raise the team's competitive level.

The eight candidates to leave Barça

Deco and Joan Laporta have given the green light to a cleanup operation affecting footballers with a good reputation. However, they are not in the plans of the German coach.

The ones identified are: Wojciech Szczęsny, Iñaki Peña, Araujo, Héctor Fort, Dani Olmo or Gavi, Pablo Torre, Pau Víctor, and Ansu Fati. None of them have a guaranteed spot, and if a good offer comes in, they will pack their bags.

On the other side of the scale are the three names marked in red to arrive at Spotify Camp Nou. Deco and Flick want a reliable left-footed center-back, a positional midfielder to free up De Jong, and also a goal-scoring forward to complement Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal.

The positions are clear, and the names are already on the table. The success of the departures will determine the success of the arrivals.

No loans accepted

Barça knows that to be able to sign, they need to sell first. The priority is to free up the wage bill and generate income that will allow them to return to financial fair play.

That's why they are looking for permanent transfers, not loans. Some, like Ansu Fati, still have a market in the Premier League, while Christensen could return to England if good proposals come in.

Players like Araújo or Dani Olmo have skyrocketing valuations and could generate very interesting income.

The loaned players: Between 30 and 50 million

Meanwhile, there are the loaned players. Deco hopes to get between 30 and 50 million for them. Among Oriol Romeu (Girona), Clément Lenglet (Atlético de Madrid), and Álex Valle (Como 1907), Barça hopes to profit from the chapter of loaned players.

The new Barça is beginning to take shape with bold decisions. Flick imposes his criteria and Deco executes. What is clear is that this summer there will be more than one surprise in the culé squad.
