It's official, there's already a date for Héctor Fort's departure. Goodbye Barça: 'He'll play for...'

The youth academy player doesn't have Hansi Flick's trust in an overcrowded position where he will not get any playing time

Héctor Fort will not continue wearing Barça's jersey this season. The youth player "has his days numbered," according to "Sport," which has set a date for his departure.  He doesn't have Hansi Flick's trust and his position is overcrowded. He is too young, he needs to play to keep growing, and he will be given every opportunity to find a new team.

He has had a minimal presence on the Asia tour and both parties have reached an agreement for his departure. Despite this, the aforementioned report has indicated that Fort will be present in the first LaLiga match against Mallorca.

Deadline for Héctor Fort

Fort will be in Mallorca, but, barring a major surprise, he won't play a single minute. The plan is for him  to leave during the upcoming week, with Barça having set this deadline to finalize his exit. He has several offers on the table and will have to decide, with both a transfer and a loan being possible options.

"Madrid-Barcelona" has learned that Barça's preference will be a sale. The idea is to keep bringing in money, retaining 50% of a future sale and the option to buy him back in the coming years.

Several possible destinations

As of today, Héctor Fort still hasn't decided where he'll play next season. There are several options on his table and Barça is putting pressure on him.

One of the teams interested in him is Mallorca. In recent days, Maffeo has been sidelined, although this option has gradually lost momentum.

Another offeror for the Catalan is Paris FC, newly promoted to Ligue 1 and owned by the Red Bull group. Fort knows perfectly well that the best thing for his career is to leave, and now he must choose a good destination so he doesn't end up without playing time away from Barcelona.

A lot of competition

Beyond the little trust Flick has in him, one of the problems Héctor Fort has faced is the great competition in his position.

He has Jules Koundé ahead of him, an untouchable in the starting line-up, and also  Eric García, who has been converted to a full-back with great results. All this makes it impossible for him to get the minutes a player of his young age needs, as he is ready for a bigger challenge than Barça Atlètic.

That's why he now has to decide. He will leave Barça, and the only thing Héctor Fort has left is to indicate which team will be his next.
