It's Official, Dream Shattered for Laporta. They Announce Leo Messi's Decision: 'he Doesn't Have...'

Recently, there has been speculation about Leo Messi's possible return to Barça, but there is already a response.

Joan Laporta has been dreaming of Leo Messi's return since he left Barça in August 2021. There have been many rumors in this regard, which have intensified in recent days.

Despite these rumors, Leo Messi's response has not been long in coming. It has arrived through his official biographer, Guillem Balagué, who has been blunt about it on his X account. Speaking about the latest information, he replied: "A couple of things about this story: Messi's contract ends at the end of the season".

Balagué continued: "Leo Messi has no intention of returning to Barça. I would say it's impossible while Joan Laporta is in charge. It's very likely that Inter Miami will convince him to stay at the club".

Leo Messi Doesn't Want to Return While Laporta Is There

Leo Messi's relationship with President Laporta didn't end well at all. He felt deceived by his departure from Barça. Everything was done and agreed upon, he returned to the capital of Catalonia to sign his new contract, and suddenly, he found out he was definitely out. He will never forgive him and believes he wasn't honest with him.

Leo Messi left crying, unexpectedly, and started a new life in Paris. A life he didn't want, neither for himself nor for his family. At all times, he only had in mind to continue at the Barça of his loves and living in the wonderful city of Barcelona, where he was so well adapted.

The final decision by Laporta, who didn't want to sign the agreement with CVC for Leo Messi to stay at Barça, hit him hard. No one expected it, absolutely no one. That's why, even though he is a few months away from finishing his contract in Miami... he has no intention of returning, despite the rumors. What he wants is to renew there, where he has formed a great locker room with old acquaintances.

Leo Messi's Legacy at Barça

Leo Messi's figure at Barça is larger than any other. With 672 goals and 303 assists, the Argentine is the most important player in the club's history. During his time as a culer, he achieved everything: Leagues, Champions, Cups, and many other titles that immortalized him as an idol among the blaugrana fans.

Although his return might have been on the table, Leo Messi has been clear and blunt at all times. He will not return as long as Joan Laporta remains president.
