La Liga F, the top category of women's soccer in Spain, has just taken a gigantic step toward its consolidation. In a historic agreement, the competition has achieved what seemed an almost impossible challenge: finding a main sponsor.
The company Moeve, formerly known as CEPSA, has committed to supporting the league with a significant financial investment. This agreement marks a turning point for Liga F, which had been left without a sponsor since Finetwork's departure in 2022.
A Change of Course for Moeve
Moeve, which recently changed its name to distance itself from its association with oil, is the main protagonist of this agreement. The company has decided to bet on women's soccer as part of its energy diversification strategy.

The company, previously focused on fossil fuels, now bets on sustainable energies, which is reflected in its investment in sports. This is the first time Moeve enters the world of women's soccer, which adds even more weight to this agreement.
The Million-Euro Contract
The agreement has an impressive magnitude. According to Relevo sources, Moeve will invest a total of 18 million euros (18 million euros) over the next four years, which equals 4.5 million euros (4.5 million euros) per season.
This contract guarantees that Liga F will carry the name of Moeve from the 2025-26 season to the 2028-29 season. The arrival of a main sponsor with this financial commitment is a great achievement for the competition, after the problems of recent years.
A Breath of Fresh Air for Liga F
The lack of a main sponsor had been a headache for the Liga F employers' association, especially after the episode with Finetwork. In 2022, the league reached an agreement with the operator, but the company withdrew, claiming that a binding contract was not signed.
This left the competition in a complicated economic situation and damaged its image. The arrival of Moeve, therefore, not only solves this problem but also gives a breath of fresh air to the league's economy, something crucial at this moment.
A Boost to Women's Soccer
This agreement will bring greater visibility and financial support that will allow the continued growth and professionalization of women's soccer. With the arrival of Moeve as the main sponsor, Liga F will gain economic stability, which could attract more investments, improve infrastructure, and increase the quality of the competition.
The sponsorship will allow more players to be recognized and more spaces to be opened for women's sports.
