Jorge D'Alessandro points to Barça's best player against Levante UD: 'It's the...'

The former coach gives in after another magnificent performance and names him as the MVP of the Levante-FC Barcelona match

FC Barcelona struggled to secure the victory and the resulting three points against Levante UD. It went into halftime trailing on the scoreboard (2-0), having to come back from an adverse result with the refereeing team clearly against it. Despite all the difficulties, Hansi Flick's side managed to turn the score around, winning 3-2 and returning to the capital of Catalonia very happy.

After the match, Jorge D'Alessandro, former coach and current collaborator of "El Chiringuito," spoke. As usual, he gave his particular analysis of the match, in which he made it clear who his MVP was.

"The boss"

Through his X account, formerly known as Twitter, Jorge D'Alessandro was clear and forceful. For him, the best player in Levante 2-3 Barcelona was Pedri. The Canary Islander certainly led the Barça game at all times, providing quality in his passes and a lot of play through the center of the field.

In fact, he was the one who started the comeback. He scored a great goal almost right after halftime, with a superb shot from outside the box. "They always tell me to shoot, today I tried, the first shot with my left foot was in prebenjamines and the second one went in," he said after the tough match.

In this regard, Jorge D'Alessandro's words couldn't have been clearer: "The boss... Pedri. My analysis of this match!!! Thank you".

A guarantee for Barça

FC Barcelona has in Pedri González one of the main pillars of its present and future project. At just 22 years old, the Canary Islander has become an untouchable piece for Flick, who considers him the nerve center of his scheme. The German coach is clear: all of Barça's play goes through Pedri.

His ability to give meaning to every possession, set the tempo, and create advantages in midfield makes him one of the most decisive footballers on the planet in his position. If injuries respect him, something that has held him back in previous seasons, Pedri is destined to be one of the best in the world over the next decade.

Flick knows it and that's why he has built a plan where the Tenerife native is absolutely irreplaceable. His vision of the game, short and long passing, tactical intelligence, and ease of linking up with players like Dani Olmo or Gavi make Barça have in him its true engine.

In a team full of young talent, Pedri represents maturity and balance, becoming the player everyone looks for when the ball is burning. Camp Nou is aware that when Pedri is on the field, Barça is a different team.

Today, more than ever, the Canary Islander is Barcelona's great footballing reference and the footballer around whom Flick wants to build a winning project.
